The Mizumoto Japanese Stroll Garden is rarely open at night.

This year there will be two night time “Romance in the Garden” events. The �irst will be September 25th and 26th, from 7 to 9 PM. The romantic evening will include the Spring�ield Astronomical Society, who will have telescopes set up for viewing the stars and the moon.

The second “Romance” event will be October 23rd and 24th, from 7 to 9 PM. St. Mark’s Squared String Quartet, lead by Ms. Allison Steiner, will perform romantic music under the stars.

Both events are for people 17 years of age

and up. Entry is $5 per person.

Lighted wishing Lanterns will be for sale and can be �loated in one of the three large ponds.

As the Mizumoto Japanese Stroll Garden celebrates its’ 30th birthday, it received the “2015 Excellence Award” from the international travel authority, Trip Advisor.
