Your Baby’s Teeth are Important!

our child’s first set of baby teeth play a vitally important role in the development of their future permanent teeth’s function and appearance. While it can sometimes be a struggle help children take care of their teeth, the reward is well worth the effort! When teeth do begin to first erupt from the gums, parents should rub a clean cloth or finger over them, or give babies a teething ring to help soothe any soreness. It is a good idea to begin cleaning your baby’s mouth with a soft, damp cloth as soon as a few days after they are born. This will help remove left over food particles and help them become used to having their mouth regularly cared for.

our child should typically visit a dental professional between six months to one year after birth. During the initial visit your pediatric dentist can

review any medical history and conduct an examination to determine if growth is normal. Early dental visits also help kids become accustomed to having a professional dental provider look at their teeth, allow a dentist to assess any potential problems the child may have with their oral health, clean the teeth, and answer any questions you might have about your child’s mouth.

arents play an important role in helping their kids establish healthy habits. By providing consistent routine care at home, along with help from yearly visits to a dental professional, you can set your child up for a lifetime of great dental health!

Don’t let this happen to your family! Without proper planning, if the unthinkable happens to you, your children could be placed into Protective Services or your kids could be left in the care of the one person in your family you would never want raising them.

attorneys simply do not address these issues, and do not plan from a parent’s perspective.

• A Judge who doesn’t know you, or your family, will decide who will raise your kids, even if it’s the last person you would ever want; • Approximately 5% of the total value of your assets could be lost due to probate, a court process that can tie up your assets for months or years and deprive your kids of the resources they need to live comfortably; • When your kids turn 18, they get a check for whatever assets are left – outright with no protection. • There are unscrupulous people who make it their business to review public records to find out what 18 year olds are coming into money; • The vast majority of estate planning

A Children’s Action Plan ensures your kids are always taken care of by whom you want, in the way you want, no matter what. If you are ready for the total assurance and peace of mind knowing you’ve done everything you can to protect your children from ever being removed from your home and placed in the arms of strangers, even for a moment, please contact us!

We have dedicated our life’s work to make sure these things don’t happen to your kids! That’s why we offer a Children’s Action Plan.

Environmental Toxins Environmental toxins feed cancer, interfere with glucose and cholesterol metabolism and induce insulin resistance and obesity, oxidative stress, mitochondrial injury, altered thyroid metabolism and impaired central appetite regulation. TOXINS TO LOOK FOR: Bisphenol A (BPA) – found in plastic bottles and canned foods, it’s a synthetic hormone that imitates estrogen in the body. Linked to breast cancer, reproductive challenges, obesity and heart disease. Phthalates – also in plastic containers. Many makeup products carry phthalates, avoid products that contain “fragrance.” Stick with all-natural products that have only a few familiar ingredients. Phthalates can cause cancer, birth defects and thyroid issues. Glycol ethers - household cleaning products, cosmetics and paints contain glycol ethers which can damage fertility, lead to birth defects and worsen allergies and asthma. There are others like; Mercury, Lead and Arsenic, all of which create major diseases and should be avoided when possible.

TIPS TO REDUCE EXPOSURE: Avoid plastics. I recommend stainless steel water bottles and glass containers like Pyrex to store leftovers. Detox home. Stick with natural, simple products. Look for products from eco-friendly, non-toxic companies. If you can eat it and also put it on your skin, that’s even better! Exercise and sweat. Exercise and sweating help rid your body of toxins. Get moving and try a sauna or steam bath. Take quality supplements. Many supplements support detoxification including zinc, vitamin C and vitamin B Complex, as well as special glutathioneboosting compounds such as n-acetyl-cysteine and alpha-lipoic acid. I recommend products from Ortho Molecular based on their efficacy. IV infusions of Glutathione are also helpful in detoxing. CONCLUSION You can’t eliminate toxins, but you can reduce exposure. It involves investigative work, switching to safer products and following the four tips above. Give us a call to see how we can help through diagnostic testing, supplements and IV infusions.

“Keri and her staff take the time to know the whole person, not just one symptom. As someone with multiple unusual health issues, the process for answers can be very emotional and discouraging. Kare has given me hope and empathy along with medical progress.” Julie B.

Welcome the Aging Process with Good Health! The fastest growing segment of the U.S. population today is the Baby Boomers and they are active, on the go and ready to live life. The aging process is being embraced by the Baby Boomers through exercise and socializing. They understand you need both to maintain a healthy happy lifestyle.

What are some benefits from exercising? • Improve blance and flexibility o Prevent falls o Ward off muscle loss o Slow down the effects of osteoporosis • Build upper body strength for daily living activities • Improve your heart function • Lose weight • Prevent or reverse several diseases and sicknesses (one example Type 2 Diabetes) • Enhance memory, concentration and cognitive abilities

When you focus on both of these areas you have exercise as medicine, resulting in reduction to your overall healthcare cost too. There is a new phrase in the wellness industry, boutique fitness studio. These studios are smaller, you feel like you are in a club or spa; they are focused on your physical and social needs. Exercise classes are not one size fits all when it comes to adults age 50 plus. The class format should be fun, easily adapted for everyone, helping you with everyday living skills and have a certified Senior Fitness Instructor.

What are some benefits of socializing?

It is never too late to start on your wellness journey. Embrace good health by moving your feet and enjoying the company of other like minded people.
