A NOTE from the Publisher Welcome to the June issue of NEA Kids’ Directory, the newest addition to the Occasions Publishing Group family of publications.

The Greene County Public Library in Paragould will host weekly events as part of its Libraries Rock! reading program every Tuesday-Thursday beginning June 6. Tuesdays will consist of a craft activity beginning at 10 a.m. and a movie at 2 p.m., Wednesday a performer will be at the Collins Theatre and Thursday will be game day starting at 10 a.m. Info: 236-8711.

The St. Bernards Women’s Council will host Stories in the Forest from 3-4 p.m. at the Fun Forest inside The Mall at Turtle Creek. The council will entertain and read stories to the children who attend. Info: St. Bernard’s Healthline, 207-7300.

The Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library will host a Summer Kick-Off Party from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. featuring music, games, crafts and more to promote its Summer Reading Club.
