A NOTE from the Publisher Welcome to the June issue of NEA Kids’ Directory, the newest addition to the Occasions Publishing Group family of publications.

NEA Kids’ Directory has many features that make it a valuable resource for parents, teachers, grandparents, and childcare professionals – anyone who is involved with children. It is compact in size, making it a handy resource to keep in your purse or car. In addition, it offers valuable coupons for use at kid-friendly businesses and includes a calendar of events so you know what’s going on across Northeast Arkansas each month. June 2-4 Playtime Theatre Company will present “The Little Mermaid Jr.” at the Jonesboro High School Performing Arts Center, June 2 and 3 at 7 p.m. and June 4 at 2 p.m. Info: playtimetheatrecompany.com.

June 1-30 The exhibit “Dinosaurs: Fossils Exposed” will be open at Arkansas State University Museum. Visitors will view and even touch reproductions of full dinosaur skeletons, and there will be replicas of skulls, legs, footprints, and eggs.
