Coconut Monkey Mix 1 6 1 1 1/8 1

Yield: 7 cups

cup flaked coconut (unsweetened or sweetened) cups popped popcorn tablespoon butter or margarine, melted teaspoon sugar teaspoon salt Dash of nutmeg cup dried banana chips

Preheat oven to 325°F. Spread coconut in a 9 x 13-inch baking pan, breaking up any clumps as needed. Bake 10 minutes or until edges of coconut begin to brown.

Spread popcorn over coconut and sprinkle with melted butter; toss. Sprinkle popcorn mixture with sugar, salt and nutmeg; toss. Bake 5 minutes longer and toss with banana chips. Serve immediately or cool and store in an airtight container.

July 3-5: July 4th Weekend Help us in celebrate our nation’s independence, with patriotic activities all weekend long! We will have a bag-toss and volleyball tournaments as well as a DJ!

July 10-12: Christmas in July Weekend Up on the roof top, reindeer paws have landed at the village! We will have a snowball fight, ice skating and a meet and greet with the jolly Santa Clause himself!

July 17-19: Redneck Weekend Grab your banjos and spittin’ cans and head out for some fantastic redneck themed activities! Furniture races, cherry-spittin’ and more!

July 24-26: Carlsville Day Weekend/Water Wars:

The Ultimate Battle

Aid us in celebrating the wonderful town we are situated in! There will be a FREE-TO-ENTER craft/bake/rummage sale after the parade through town! We will also be holding our ONLY Water Wars for the WHOLE YEAR, so put on your red or blue and be prepared to get soaked!

July 31-Aug 2: Luau Weekend Aloha! Catch a gnarly wave down to the village for a trip to paradise!

We will be enjoying activities in the sun and a traditional pig roast, just $10 per person!

Aug 7-9: Halloween Weekend Join us, if you dare, to the spookiest place on earth! Dress up and partake in ghastly activities. Trick or treating for children AND adults.

Prizes for best costumes at our monster bash with a DJ!

Aug 14-15: Celebrate Harbour Village Weekend Help us celebrate our great community with Harbour Village themed activities! We will be holding our Annual Owners Meeting in the pavilion, where the vote for board members will be held.

Aug 21-23: Pirate Party/Pool Party Weekend Shiver me timbers! Plunder your way down to the pool for a waterside DJ, buried treasure and other pirate themed activities!

Aug 28-30: Celebrate Summer Weekend Come out and help us end our regular season with a bang! Our open-mic talent show chili cook-off, prizes and store specials all weekend! For those crafty people, we will be holding our final FREE-TO-ENTER craft/bake/ rummage sale for the year!
