Kickin’ It With K9s Orientation

1/7, 1/18, 2/4, 2/15 Kitsap Humane Society is inviting community members to take dogs on field trips to the park, to the beach, and other dog-friendly destinations in Kitsap – even sleepovers at your home! – to give them a break from the stress of shelter life.

All that is required to get started is a quick, 20-minute orientation. Then you can be on your way with your shelter dog, some simple instructions, and a special doggie backpack filled with supplies! Daytime field trips are scheduled seven days a week, except during shelter open hours, when dogs need to be in their kennels to meet potential adopters.

Orientations will be held on the first Tuesday and third Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m.
