YMCA HIGHLAND Y RUN

JANUARY 30 | 8-10AM

A fundraising event for the Highland Y that offers a scenic 5K Run/Walk, 10K Run/Walk, and Family Fun Run in the city of Highland, CA. Starts at 8AM All net proceeds from the Highland Y Run benefit the YMCA Financial Assistance program. The Lunar Festival is a unique and fun experience for all ages. See Taiko Drummers, Lion & Dragon Dance performances, and Shaolin Kungfu. Plus, traditional Chinese dance, Tang Arts traditional instruments, martial arts demonstrations and more. Come and experience authentic Asian food. Local and regional artisans will be on hand selling traditional and modern goods, including hand cut paper art, handmade jewelry and clothing, terra cotta dolls, Japanese dolls, and hand-written calligraphy from China and Vietnam. Children can experience the funzone inflatable rides, including a 40’ obstacle course, 20’ tall rock wall climb, and princess (Disney) jumper among many more. Kids can also experience the Japanese game machine corner and unique prizes you can win. Admission and parking are FREE.
