Veterans Day Celebration
Presented by the City of Palm Desert November 11 - 11am Civic Center Park, 43900 San Pablo Ave Palm Desert, California 92260 Palm Desert will honor the sacrifices of those who have served in the United States’ military and recognize the dedication of those who continue to serve our nation with a free Veterans Day celebration at Civic Center Park. Held each year on November 11 at 11am the Palm Desert Veterans Day Celebration features speeches from active duty and veteran military service members as well as a patriotic concert performed by a local band. Limited seating is available, so attendees are also invited to bring blankets and portable chairs to the park’s amphitheater to enjoy the program in comfort. Martha’s Village & Kitchen Thanksgiving Day 5K
November 22 El Paseo, Palm Desert, California 92260 The Fortem Financial Thanksgiving Day 5K benefiting Martha’s Village & Kitchen has evolved into a great holiday tradition that only gets better each year. Runners, walkers, dogs and strollers are all welcome! Festivities include the 5k race, Kids Zone with face painting and games and a Beer Garden for adults 21 and over. Help feed those in need...participate in the 5K Run/Walk on Thanksgiving morning!

Stay and listen to local choirs sing,take a picture of Santa Claus with the kids, and wander through Town Square Park, which will be transformed into a winter wonderland. Stop by the Information Booth and pick up free passes to go to Desert Ice Castle (limited to 300 passes) for a free ice skating event on Tuesday, December 11, 2018. It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Admission to this event is free.
Santa Fly In
December 8 & 9 Palm Springs Air Museum 745 North Gene Autry Trail Palm Springs, California 92262 Join the Palm Springs Air Museum for their Santa Fly-In and Winter Fun Land! Each day Santa Claus arrives at the Palm Springs Air Museum in his vintage airplane to greet all the good little girls and boys who have come to see him. In addition to sitting for photographs and having a special gift for each child, Santa will open his winter fun land complete with snow directly from the North Pole!
Children’s Art & Music Festival
(CAMFest) Hosted by CAMFest and Desert Sands Educational Foundation December 15 - 9:30am–4pm Desert Sands Educational Foundation is hosting the 2nd annual Children’s Art & Music Festival (CAMFest). Our event is scheduled for Saturday, December 15, 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. Proceeds from CAMFest will be used to benefit art, music, dance, and theatre programs for the children in Desert Sands Unified School District. The event kicks off with a special lighting ceremony for members only on Wednesday, November 21 – Members Night WildLights is open to the general public beginning Friday, November 23rd at 6 pm. WildLights begins November 23 and runs selected nights through December 24 November 23, 24, 30 December 1, 7, 8, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 6:00 – 9:00pm, with last admission at 8:30pm. Park closes at 9:00pm Adults $12. Members / Children / Military (with ID) $10. Children (under 3) FREE. *Childrens strollers and Wheelchairs available for a $5 fee.
