Adults and older kids interested in World War II history may also appreciate the many educational exhibits as well as the research library.

Villagefest Palm Canyon Drive (between Baristo & Amado),Palm Springs, CA On Thursday evenings, the Villagefest is the place to be. It transforms the desert city’s downtown area into a street fair bustling with arty vendors, food, and entertainment. Many of the Palm Canyon Drive eateries and shops stay open late for the occasion. October through May, the fest starts at 6pm; it begins at 7pm from June through September. It closes at 10 p.m. year-round.

World’s Biggest Dinosaur Museum Step back in time and check out the World’s Biggest Dinosaur Museum, a unique roadside attraction located along I-10 in Cabazon.
