5 Zucchini squash 1 Pound chicken breast 1 Avocado 1 Bag of frozen corn 1 Can of black beans 1/2 Cup of shredded mozzarella Optional : Season food to taste (I use Greek seasoning) salsa, Greek yogurt to replace sour cream.

Slice Zucchini and place on a cookie sheet. Put in oven on 250 degrees for 2 hours or until chips are crispy. Or, lightly bread with flour or panko crumbs and fry in peanut oil for 7 to 8 minutes.

Cook all other ingredients in a saute pan and layer as desired. Makes 4 servings.

What better way to get a workout in when it is hot outside than by cooling off in a pool? Whether you decide to take a class at a local gym, or use your own pool, water aerobics is a fun and beneficial method of exercising for all ages and abilities.

Water aerobics consists of both cardiovascular and resistance training components. In a class setting, the class’s style determines how much of the two are incorporated. Some of the classes are primarily focused on the cardiovascular aspect. Others incorporate a mixture of the two. Movements in the water can quickly raise the heart rate due to the viscosity of the water. Simply walking laps in a pool can raise a person’s heart rate higher in comparison to the same individual walking at the same speed on land. That is one advantage of exercising in the water.
