From the President Greetings from the Kapiti Coast, As I reflect on the Kiwi medal haul at the 2014 Common Wealth games I am reminded of my son’s school motto: Nihil Bone Sine Labore - Nothing Achieved Without Work. Our sportsmen and women typify us as a nation and show what can be achieved with commitment, hard work and focus. The same applies to our association and business. Success and achievement is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration.
Conference 2014
It has been well published that this year’s conference and trade show is being held in Rotorua at the Distinction Hotel September 24th – 25th. There will be supplier / delegate President’s Cup challenge on the afternoon of the 23rd. This pre conference challenge proved very successful at Taupo and Rotorua has provided us with the same opportunity. This year’s challenge is titled “King of the Mountain” I will leave it up to your imagination as to what we will be doing. Registrations for conference are gathering momentum and if you are sitting on the fence or have not been to conference, I would encourage you to make a positive decision and spend a couple of days with like-minded people in a friendly, non-competitive environment. Thanks to our supplier members we can expect another fantastic trade show. Following in the footsteps of the Australian Hire Association, this year’s conference will see the Elevated Work Platform of New Zealand hold their AGM with in our HIANZ conference event. There is a signed memorandum of understanding between both organisations and having the ability
to host EWPANZ during our event can only help cement the relationship, as both associations share common goals such as compliance, health and safety, advocacy and raising the public awareness of our respective industries. There will be a combined workshop during conference highlighting the changes to the EWP industry including the new code of practice and the introduction of log books.
Industry Awards
The Hire Excellence Awards are on again this year, entries have closed and judging is currently underway. This is a great opportunity for hire companies to review their business practises, be objectively judged and then acknowledged at the conference gala dinner in your pursuit of excellence. Whilst entries for the 2014 awards have now closed, please consider your entry for next year. If you are little apprehensive about entering, don’t be - the process is straight forward and the entry form is quick to fill out and easy to follow. As an industry we need to be striving for and celebrating excellence. Check out the webpage for more information about the awards.
Training Progress
The marquee training programme is tracking towards completion and as planned will be launched at conference 2014. There has been a great deal invested in this programme, both in time and money. A project of this scale would not come to fruition without the assistance of wiling volunteers. Thank you to all those involved in making this ambitious project a reality. Your hard work and fortitude
is very much appreciated. This training programme will be the industry standard so it would be very beneficial for stake holders to be at the conference launch.
Health & Safety
Many will already be aware of the radical changes in work place health and safety coming into effect April 2015. The big change is the Health and safety in the work place is going from a hazard based model to one of risk based. Marcus Nalter from Work Safe New Zealand will be leading a workshop on the changes to the act and the impact it will have on you as a business owner at our conference. GST, bonds/security deposits and refunds. The association was contacted by the Inland Revenue Department re how bonds/security deposits are treated by hire companies in New Zealand. After extensive consultation with us and numerous scenarios requested by the IRD, the commissioner has published her view. It is relatively straight forward and I would urge you to seek the view your account if are in anyway unsure or require clarification.
HIANZ survey
Please take time to fill out this survey. Your feedback is essential in order for the board and the CEO to form an effective and relevant business plan moving forward. We remain committed to providing the membership with ongoing and relative benefits; quite simply we want to give you “bang for buck” I very much look forward to catching up with you all in Rotorua. Kind Regards Tim Mikkelsen HIANZ HIRE & RENTAL AUGUST 2014 PAGE 5

Kumeu Hire expands to meet needs of market…. Trevor Ridley Kumeu Hire opened in the early 70’s, and was what you would call your typical ‘Ma and Pa’ hire company. Caroline and I bought the business as a going concern in May 1995. Almost 20 years we have been in business and in this time there have been a lot of changes in our area. Auckland is getting bigger by the day, and with the motorway almost at our back door now, Kumeu has become yet another suburb of Auckland. We are fortunate to have the Auckland CBD only 30 minutes away during off peak, yet we are surrounded by lifestyle blocks and some of
the best wineries and award winning eateries in New Zealand. With the services of water and sewerage finally coming on stream, there are several large housing subdivisions underway with smaller building sites, as well as a newly completed New World supermarket and two sets of traffic lights (certainly no traffic lights when we came here). During times of growth, it is necessary to expand with the market. With this in mind, and the fact we sold our premises to the supermarket - we relocated our party, marquee and events side of the business into a standalone building in July last year. Adjacent to this was a vacant 3500 square metre site that has been developed as a building purpose built for the equipment hire. A corner site with two entrance ways and an allweather canopy it is simply fantastic! Moving off the busy Main Road (Highway 16) into a large industrial site on a side road has certainly highlighted the
real benefits of good access into and out of your business. Whilst there seems to be an increasing trend within our industry to specialise in one particular area, [ie toilets, access equipment or temporary fencing] we continue to focus on servicing our local area with a range of equipment that is required. We have two locations for equipment hire [Kumeu & Helensville which is approximately 20 minutes drive further northwest] as well as the events side to the business next door. The feeling is we are coming out of recession which is fantastic! The cost of maintenance & servicing of equipment, increased specialised equipment required for H&S within building industry are just a couple of examples as to why there will always be the need for a good hire company!
Tauranga Hire is reborn… Richard Grainger After 25 years in the hire industry (1989 to 2004,), and growing a company called Ready Hire with my business partner, Kevin Gallichan, into a sixteen strong branch network with around 100 staff, I thought I would never get back into the hire industry. But this industry has a habit of getting under the skin and into your blood. Over a number of years there have been a lot of changes within the industry, independent operators selling to corporate’s and more recently changes like the Hirepool and Hirequip merger. With these recent changes and the economy improving I saw a real opportunity and a gap in the local market for an independent owner operator to fill. With my previous experience in the industry and the desire to give the people of Tauranga an alternative, the decision was made to open Tauranga Hire. This decision created a lot of hard work and challenges, but most of all it has created a great sense pride in what the team has achieved in such a short time, so overall a rewarding experience and one where I have had the good fortune to meet old acquaintances from my earlier years in the industry. What I really enjoy about our industry are the clients you meet, the camaraderie of fellow hire company owners, suppliers to the industry and the challenges business poses on a daily basis. Overall it’s just a great industry to be involved in. Our new company, Tauranga Hire was opened on the 1st November 2013 and is located at 52 Burrows Street in Tauranga. We have a strong
local focus and our team have a combined 60 years hire industry experience. We are very much focussed on supplying quality equipment based on customer demand and providing excellent service. We cover a variety of industry segments including contractors, trades people, home handyman and DIY. We are very much focussed on the 2/3 tonne and under market - basically anything that is towable or can be put on a trailer. We do have larger equipment in specific areas to meet our clients’ needs and we continue to look for further opportunities to grow. Tauranga Hire is not a new name in the hire industry. Back in the 70s & 80s the name was synonymous with hire and was owned by Harvey Bryant (past president of the Hire Association) whom I first started to work for in 1980 as an electrician.
While equipment hire is a vibrant and absorbing industry to be involved in, it can be demanding and challenging - but very rewarding if done properly. Hire businesses are capital intensive monsters that eat cash. Without reinvestment these businesses will slowly die, in some cases quite quickly! Today customers want more and usually want to pay less which is why new people that want to get into a hire business, need to do it right. As an industry we need to increase our creditability by providing only great service and products that customers truly value and at the same time get a realistic return on our investment. As Harvey Bryant always said; “It is important to remember we are a need industry not a want industry, so you have to do it right” “Do it once do it well, build a better New Zealand” HIANZ HIRE & RENTAL AUGUST 2014 PAGE 7

Certifications Paul Harrison Upper Hutt Hire started as a business idea between two families: The Harrisons and the Bulls. Grant & Karine have been steering Harrison’s Hire Master since they took over the business from Grant’s parents in 2009, while Garry and Heather Bull are born and bred in the Hutt. Industry changes and consolidation of the Hire Industry presented the Harrison and Bull families with a unique opportunity to start a new Hire Business from scratch. Paul Harrison reviews how the business got up and running in only 12 weeks. Starting any new business can be an absolute roller coaster ride. Upper Hutt Hire Ltd only opened its doors for business at the end of March 2014 but the company has already reached break-even point and established itself in the Upper Hutt community. On reflection there are a few initiatives that proved to be pivotal in the successful establishment of the business.
Clarity and Understanding
Our primary focus during initial discussions and planning was on open communication, much of it captured in writing. Our Lawyer mentioned something along the lines of “The more you write, the less you’ll need” which pretty much hit the nail on the head. We recorded as much as possible, primarily to avoid any risk of misunderstanding. We started with an extensive letter of intent covering the first few years of the business, a comprehensive shareholders PAGE 8 HIANZ HIRE & RENTAL AUGUST 2014
agreement, and continue to have regular four weekly Board meetings with formally written minutes and follow-up.
Homework
We did as much homework as we could, from some rather diverse sources. At one extreme we found the NZ Department of Statistics an invaluable source of information and were able to identify some very specific demographics of our target market. At the other extreme the yellow pages and good old door knocking lead us to some of our most important clients. All this homework quickly allowed us to estimate the size of the market and then plan and budget accordingly.
Finances
Despite dealing with numerous unknowns we managed to summarise all our financial planning to one integrated spreadsheet, allowing us to develop an accurate budget and cash flow model. This also allowed us to factor in any significant expenses or abnormal monthly sales on our P&L and cash flow. To monitor cashflow, Heather keeps a close eye on the cashbox model which highlight any issues before they become a problem.
Industry knowledge
Having a thorough knowledge of the industry helped immensely. Grant and Karine’s experience in the hire industry eliminated a huge amount of risk for us and allowed us to establish systems and procedure that had already been tested in the market. Anyone looking to start a new
hire business should seriously look at partnering with someone who has industry experience.
Location Location Location
The Goodshed Road location is possibly the best location for a hire company in Upper Hutt, and we only managed to secure the site by luck. The rent is more than we originally budgeted for, but the amount of road traffic and space for expansion more than covers this extra expense.
Brand new gear
Buying brand new gear had three major benefits for us. Firstly we managed to secure competitive pricing for the quantity of gear purchased. Secondly our customers love using brand new gear and it has helped us secure return business. Finally during the intensity of our first few start-up weeks we haven’t been plagued by equipment breakdowns, saving us time and hassle.
Family
Establishing a new business from scratch has demonstrated the essence and strength of family. Garry and Heather have had huge support from their family and friends, with everyone offering their help to refurnish and paint the premises, assemble gear and do whatever was required. Everyone in a family shares the success, none more than the four Grandkids, who love visiting Granddad Garry at his workplace. With almost seven months of hard work behind us we still have lots to do. However the business is operating well and we have some exciting plans for continued growth and expansion.

reunion
Reunion of Association Founding Members
Sue Mikkelsen In 1977 Gordon Dale from New Plymouth Hire organised the inaugural meeting of independent hire companies to form a national association. Chairman (Bob Youngman) Secretary and committee were elected. The national association was registered as Hire Services Association of New Zealand Inc. Some years on the association is now known as HIANZ. Hire Industry Association of New Zealand. Trade suppliers (associate members) played an integral part being very generous with sponsorship. PAGE 10 HIANZ HIRE & RENTAL AUGUST 2014
The association grew steadily over the years with new members joining as hire companies sprung up around New Zealand. Many of the hire companies were a husband and wife team primarily involved with general hire but later branched out into party and event hire, thus becoming the local one stop hire shop. These operations predominantly hired plant and equipment up to 1.5 tonne. These were pioneering days and the Zone meetings (2-3 a year) played a very important role in the exchanging of ideas, sharing of problems and collective solutions agreed upon.
The social highlight of the year was the annual Conference (AGM) and trade show lasting 4 - 5 days! As is the case with so many husband and wife teams , businesses of the day grew and blossomed with the economic prosperity of the country. Family members wanted to, or at times got roped into helping out on weekends and filled in the gaps as required . In some cases, this second generation of hire personalities provided an exit strategy for some foundation members. Second generation still retain the values that the business was founded on and have the ability to move the business
forward by keeping abreast with technology and the ever increasing pace in which we all operate today. Life time friendships have been formed since the meeting in New Plymouth in 1977. Over the past few years foundation members have met for reunions in New Plymouth, Wellington, Auckland and Queenstown. Stephen and Barry Robertson organised a reunion of foundation members in Queenstown from 2nd to 4th May 2014. We stayed at the Crown Plaza on the lake front, meeting for drinks and dinner on Friday night. On Saturday morning we travelled by
bus to the Highlands Motorsports Park and Museum in Cromwell. What an amazing venue and setting. Anything from go karting to Formula One racing happens here. Some of the members went for an exhilarating ride in a racing saloon car. We enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Northburn Winery, seated outside in the beautiful sunshine. On Saturday evening we went on the Earnslaw to Walter Peak Station for dinner. A very pleasant evening. Farewell breakfast on Sunday and we all look forward to another reunion in 2015 which will be held in the Hawkes Bay.
Reunion attendee’s: Spencer & Wendy Tankard, Bob Youngman & Bev Small, Stuart McKinlay, Harvey & Lindy Bryant, Lil Tickner, Colin & Barbara Taylor, John & Gail Martin, Max & Christina Rutherford, John & Ann Lane, Warren & Lyn Eagan, Terry Rush John & Susan Mikkelsen, Mike & Judith Elliot, Stephen & Claire Robertson, Barry & Jeanette Robertson. TRAVELLERS COVERED BY CONTINENTAL
A marquee from North Canterbury based Continental Event Hire is serving as the International Baggage Reclaim Area at the busy Queenstown Airport during winter. The addition of more direct flights from Australia to the popular skiing destination means more people and a huge increase in bulky luggage coming and going from the region with which the Airport’s current terminal cannot cope. Continental was invited to erect the 20 x 35m Roder structure just
prior to the recent school holidays, and only just in time – the first day of the holidays saw 46 flights and some 7000 people move through the small terminal. The marquee is installed complete with a purpose-built floor and is temperature controlled to 22 degrees day and night. Spokesperson for QAC (Queenstown Airport Corporation Mark Harrington, said the marquee (featured on TV3 News recently) would be used for around two months to cover the peak time.
Plans are in the pipeline to extend the terminal building permanently. Continental is one of the South Island’s largest marquee suppliers with an extensive inventory of marquees rigged specially to handle New Zealand weather conditions. Vegas Flowmix Sports New Technology Kerrick has recently introduced the Vegas Flowmix to its range of specialty vacuums. The Vegas Flowmix is an energy efficient, twin motor, adjustable airflow vacuum. It has a 62 litre tank constructed out of high impact PVC, with push trolley, on board cable stowage and many other great features making it a highly versatile unit ideal for use in the hire industry as it works well across a variety of cleaning operations. This Italian designed, twin motor unit sports the new ‘Flowmix’ technology which not only consumes less power than standard three motor vacuums it also offers stronger lift. The ‘Flowmix’ system changes the twin motors from series to parallel at the flick of a switch, increasing water lift by up to 60%. This vacuum cleaner can therefore be used in a wide variety of applications from vacuuming large amounts of fine dust to picking up bulky light materials such as foam and polystyrene. Darryl Sabin
...a riveting story of triumph over tragedy. Sponsored by ICIB & NZI Insurance Darryl Sabin’s story will move you and transform your way of thinking. Your team’s mantra will become the 10-ninety rule; life is 10% what happens to you, 90% how you react to it. While playing rugby, Darryl had started suffering successive concussions - two years earlier and after a six-day stay in Auckland Hospital with a brain bleed, everyone, none more so than his father, were telling him he should never play again. Medical advice subsequently gave Darryl a clearance and despite his father moving to take out a court order to prevent it, Darryl started playing again, in pursuit of his dream to be an All Black. Darryl believed that if he died playing Rugby then he died doing something he loved! In 2009 his father’s worst nightmare came to life when Darryl received another head injury while playing Rugby -
only this time it would mean a fight for his life - a fight that would change things forever. His tale of survival and recovery is framed around five life lessons that underpinned his journey from cheating death to becoming the 23rd man of Sir Graham Henry’s All Black squad. The lessons are relevant to anyone at any level and provide everyone with a point of reference and perspective to deal with the challenges life inevitably puts in our path. You walk away from Darryl’s presentation feeling empowered and inspired to live life to the full. Darryl’s compelling presentation is packed full of unforgettable video footage, it celebrates triumph over adversity, the strength of the human spirit and the power of hope and determination. It will inspire you and your team to see life and the challenges you face in a new light - because sometimes ‘sh*t happens’, but it’s what you do about it that matters!

kubota testimonial
Thwaites dumpers and Kubota excavators are a match made in small civil project Heaven Thwaites Dumpers and Kubota excavators are a match made in civil project heaven. From larger civil construction sites through to building sites and landscaping works this pair is teamed up to get the job done efficiently. And that’s exactly how Dave Booker, Manager of Auckland based NZ Dumpers see’s it ‘Thwaites Dumpers are the perfect match for Kubota excavators; with dumper sizes to match the Kubota range we can put together a complete package for our customers.’ The compact dumper is underutilised in New Zealand at the moment and as more people realise the efficiency gains of having a safe, highly manoeuvrable machine with large load carrying capacity on site, the busier NZ Dumpers seem to be getting. Kubota was recommended to Dave by another Kubota customer who also has a great relationship with both Kubota and Steve Hale, the Auckland and North Kubota Construction Sales Representative. After making contact with Steve the ball was rolling straight away; Steve says that it has been very fulfilling to help Dave get what he needed to grow his business and he is excited to work with Dave into the future as he grows and expands his business further. ‘Steve Hale led me through the entire process.’ Dave says. ‘From initial contact all the way to delivery Steve made sure I had all the information that I could possibly ask for.’ With hire machines the need for an ergonomic and clearly laid out unit along with impeccable reliability was paramount to Dave. The Kubota range is safe and easy to use so even the less experienced operators have them mastered in no time. Already gaining hire jobs in the South Island Dave is looking to expand NZ Dumpers product range to include some more civil focused equipment. ‘Working towards having the latest and best maintained machinery is the key to making sure that our business keeps growing and our customers have a positive experience.’ For more information on the Kubota excavators please visit www.kubota. co.nz or call 0800 KUBOTA.

The HA16 RTJ Pro model also feature an oscillating axle making it feel exceptionally safe and comfortable to drive. The new Kubota engine has a variable motor speed halving the noise level and reducing the fuel consumption by 15%. Reinforced hood: the turret hood benefits from a brand new design reinforced by a metal sub-frame for the best resistance in all conditions. The innovative modular design of the hoods allow only the damaged part to be replaced, therefore resulting in savings in terms of spare parts cost.
Fully modular platform: Haulotte is the unique AWP manufacturer proposing this fully modular platform solution, which is easy and cost effective to repair. It is possible to replace only the damaged component instead of changing the whole basket. HA16 RTJ PRO featuring 4 wheeldrive, 4-wheel steer, 360° continuous turret rotation, oscillating axle. The 4-wheel steer on HA16 RTJ PRO model allows 3 steering configurations: 4-wheel steer, 2-wheel steer and crab steer. The selection can be easily made using the selector on the upper control box. The new HA16 RTJ is a multipurpose machine, suitable for many types of applications, from building works (steel erection, cladding, curtain wall, painting, etc), finishing works (plumbing, electrics, air conditioning, heating, insulation...) and maintenance work, demolition and pruning, etc. Offering the maximum safety level, the HA16 RTJ range complies with the working regulations (AS1418-10)
Safety at the highest level
Haulotte has recently launched a unique secondary guarding device: HAULOTTE ACTIV’Shield© Bar which reduces the crushing risk while maintaining excellent productivity. Moreover, the HA16 RTJ range is very safe to drive as the machines can be driven at maximum speed with the jib raised, giving excellent visibility of the working area. trailer mounted waterblaster
New Trailer Mounted Waterblaster from AES AES Waterblasters have expanded their range of Trailer mounted Water blasters which have proved popular with Contractors and Hire companies for over two decades. In addition to the existing Trailer 250 and Trailer 550, the new model is the Trailer 750. It features a strong NZ built single axle hot dip galvanized steel chassis with chequer plate guards, commercial duty 8 ply tyres, 12-24 volt LED lights and wind up jockey wheel. The chassis comes with a 5 year warranty. AES offer a variety of Pump & Engine options, including a UDOR 3000 psi, 19 L/min pump which is coupled to a Honda GX390 electric start engine via a 2:1 reduction & coupling drive, and a grunty UDOR 3000 psi 32 L/min pump which is driven via a belt or reduction gear-box drive from a Honda GX630 V twin cylinder engine. Also available is a UDOR 2500 psi, 40 L/min pump coupled to a Honda GX690 V twin engine which makes an ideal combination Waterblaster & Drain cleaner. The Honda engines are fitted with an hour meter which takes the guess work out of service intervals.
The 750 Litre capacity makes the Trailer 750 ideal for use with the larger flow rate pumps in urban or rural areas with a low water supply. AES fit a large capacity Canister filter with a 50 mesh S/S element to take care of dirty water, with a finer 80 mesh element available as an option. A basket strainer is also available to fit under the tank lid to pre-screen water dumped into the tank from dubious sources. In addition to a heavy duty unloader valve, AES fit a safety valve to each pump which is tested and set at the AES factory prior to delivery. The nicely balanced chassis on the Trailer 750 is large enough to accommodate diesel engine options. AES are the Sole Importers of Udor Plunger pumps for New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. anything in return for retaining the bond. The retained bond is not a payment for the supply of goods or services. Therefore, as set out in the item, bonds retained as compensation or damages payments are not subject to GST. Please note, that this ruling is not a new rule, instead, the continuation of an existing rule relating to GST and how it is applied in various situations. It is not up for negotiation. A complete version of this release, as well as copies of the letters received from the IRD, as well as their published Q&A sheet (QWBA) on this matter can be downloaded from the member’s area of the Association website. http://hianz.net.nz/Guides Members requiring clarification or advice as to managing this within their businesses should provide a copy of the documents to their respective accounts for guidance.

“Portable Appliance Testing is commonly known as PAT Testing”
The Hire Industry Association of New Zealand has recently been contacted by the IRD for advice and examples relating to the payments and retention of bonds. Some of you may refer to these as security deposits. The IRD have provided some information on the Commissioner’s position on GST and compensation or damages payments. The Commissioner’s position is that compensation or damages payments are not liable to GST. A person receives such a payment as they have suffered a loss. They are not required to supply anything in return for that payment. Therefore, as compensation or damages payments are not made for the supply of goods or services, they are not consideration for a supply. This same reasoning applies to bonds retained as compensation or damages payments. In these types of cases, the hire company retains the bond as they have suffered a loss. The hire company does not supply

WorkSafe NZ praises construction Industry for positive progress in falls from height campaign Two years after the launch of the ‘Preventing Falls from Height’ campaign, new WorkSafe New Zealand data is showing a 25 percent drop in serious harm accidents in the construction industry. It comes on top of a separate BRANZ study showing that new guidelines have helped prevent about 90 deaths or severe injuries. The reductions have coincided with a major increase in workplace visits and enforcement by the new health and safety regulator over the same period. The high profile Preventing Falls from Height’ campaign aims to reduce harm across the construction industry by raising awareness about the safe use of ladders and safe working on roofs. Best practice guidelines and fact sheets have been widely circulated throughout New Zealand. Falls from three metres or less off roofs and from ladders account for most of the serious harm accidents reported to WorkSafe NZ from the construction sector. More injuries happen on residential building sites than any other workplace in the construction sector.
Marcus Nalter, WorkSafe NZ Programme Manager Construction and Manufacturing said internal data showed the reduction in serious harm accidents occurred between 2011 and 2013, the first two years of the campaign. “We know our project has had an impact but we are cautious about assigning the 25 percent reduction solely to our work. There is a trending reduction evident and other factors could be working in parallel to produce the reduction,” he said. “What we do know, however is that WorkSafe NZ inspectors has been very busy over this period. Our workplace assessment visits targeting work at height increased by 438 percent for the same period. In 2013 we completed 3,134 visits. Enforcement also increased by a massive 492 percent, he added. “There was a significant increase in the use of Infringement Notices, jumping by 767 percent. Our investigation meanwhile reduced by 34 percent and prosecutions dropped from 10 in 2011 to just one in 2013.” Marcus Nalter said WorkSafe NZ was especially pleased with the way
the campaign appeared to have positively affected sector thinking around working at height. “The sector has increased its awareness of noncompliance and is notifying us of their concerns,” he said. “Complaints have gone up by 105 percent and represent 45 percent of the traffic received by the WorkSafe NZ response team.” A recent Building Research Association of New Zealand study on behalf of Scaffolding Access and Rigging New Zealand further confirmed the positive ongoing impact of new working from heights guidelines on the industry, he said. “BRANZ concludes that what they describe as “the tighter guidelines” have prevented about 90 deaths or severe injuries. This is powerful thirdparty developed evidence that we are having a positive impact,” he said. Offering his congratulations to the construction sector, Marcus Nalter said credit was mainly due to the industries and trades that have made it happen. “And this very pleasing trend confirms a core WorkSafe NZ belief that that productivity, efficiency and safety go hand in hand,” he said.
