R&J BATTERIES TO EXHIBIT AT THE 2021 HIANZ CONFERENCE

one of the leading industrial battery distributors in australasia, r&J Batteries, will be exhibiting at the 2021 hIanZ conference putting the focus on U.S Battery, fullriver, rELion, Lester and flowrite.

thE tEam of BattErY experts from R&J Batteries will be turning Stall #69 into a feature of world-class industrial batteries and accessories. The main feature brand of the show is the U.S Battery products which are 100% manufactured in the U.S. and are exclusively distributed by R&J Batteries in New Zealand and Australia. The U.S Battery range of deep cycle batteries are engineered with cutting edge Xtreme Capacity 2 (XC2) Diamond Plate Technology and are ideal for applications such as hire equipment, where batteries are subjected to deep discharge and fast recharge on a regular basis. This technology consists of synthetic tetrabasic lead sulphate (TTBLS) additive which provides controlled crystal sizes and results in the enhanced performance and charging characteristics of U.S Battery deep cycle batteries. XC2 technology can maintain peak capacity for longer periods between charges, delivering the highest total energy over the life of the batteries while lowering operating costs. The efficient battery plates of U.S Battery products transmit greater watt-hours per litre and watt-hours per kilogram than any other flooded lead-acid battery in the market. The maintenance-free and corrosion-free properties of U.S Battery products result in greater productivity due to not having to allocate time to fill batteries with acid, replace corroded cables and brackets or replace batteries too soon due to inefficiency. No matter the type of hire equipment or its power requirements, U.S Battery have a deep cycle size or, configuration and AH capacity to suit, available from R&J Batteries and distributors. Initially operating from Onehunga, R&J Batteries’ Auckland branch recently relocated to new premises located at 57H McLaughlin’s Road, Wiri to meet the growing demand for quality batteries in New Zealand. While the Auckland branch serves customers in the North Island, R&J Batteries’ Christchurch branch located at 14 Dakota Crescent, Wigram serves the South Island. Known as one of the fastest growing battery companies in Australasia, R&J Batteries has 27 company-owned branches and over 8000 stockists in New Zealand and Australia. The battery distributor plans to further expand its operations in New Zealand. In addition to relocating to larger premises in Auckland, R&J Batteries is amidst purchasing New Zealand origin battery company, KOBA Batteries as well as setting up a new warehouse storage location in Hamilton. The Hamilton site will bridge the distribution gap across the country by facilitating orders and giving the company’s stockists a faster turn-around time for batteries. These endeavours will effectively double the size of R&J Batteries in New Zealand by the end of the year. ■
