2021 Conference Preview
THE 2021 CONFERENCE IS COMING!!
not long to go now until the opening of the 2021 hIanZ conference to be held in Rotorua on 11 & 12 August. It’s our first conference in two years and the excitement is building for what should be a great event that will deliver not only a value-added experience but also provide networking and socialising opportunities like never before.

the conference theme this year is respond, rethink, recover which is very applicable given the challenges covid-19 has presented over the last 18 months.
How we have had to deal with the changes to all our lives
Thought processes change, where to next?
Putting the plan into action
ANTONIA PREBBlE - CONFERENCE MC

Our line-up of keynote speakers are reflective of our times and will provide some really interesting insights into life from different perspectives. The line-up includes; wIrEmU EdwardS: Multi generation logging family from Rotorua, the risks they took in their jobs and the price they paid. “Stand in the Gap” is a real thought provoking conversation where the hard truths are faced. andrEw StroUd: Arguably New Zealand’s best bike racer which is a great accolade considering some of the greats we have. Andrew talks of his life, his relationship with the outstanding inventor John Britten and the development of a motorcycle that challenged the status quo of bike construction. Very interesting story of how we as a country and people constantly punch above our weight. antonIa PrEBBLE: Loretta West of ‘Outrageous Fortune’ fame and Rita from the prequal series ‘Westside’. Our Conference MC has a special treat instore for us which will be well worth listening to. We aren’t giving much away here, you have to be there to see for yourself. hannah mcQUEEn: A career in focussing on personal wealth and reduction of debt, Hannah has built up a business focussed on helping individuals reduce debt, understand their financial position and how to plan for the future. mIKE aLLSoP: Climbed Mt Everest, ran seven marathons on seven continents in seven days all whilst holding down a job as an Air NZ pilot. How he did it and where the parallels are with these achievements and personal life.
