Our Mission The mission of the Hilton Head Preparatory School Alumni Association is to cultivate, promote, and renew relationships among alumni of Sea Pines Academy, May River Academy, and Hilton Head Preparatory School by fostering strong connections with each other and the school. In addition, the Association seeks to encourage alumni support of Hilton Head Prep though volunteer and philanthropic participation, to support the student experience on campus and to create an understanding of the Association among undergraduates. ALUMNI Hadley Puntereri Miller, '00 After graduating from Hilton Head Prep in 2000, Hadley attended the University of Virginia. She graduated with a major in Sociology, a minor in History, and moved to Atlanta, Georgia to take a job with the Cartoon Network and Adult Swim. She started as a Production Assistant in the New Media department but her group, and role, evolved as quickly as the digital technology advanced. Hadley launched Cartoon Network and Adult Swim’s first mobile clip channels, Video on Demand channels, mobile websites and 24/7 live mobile streaming channels on phones and in cars. When the iPhone was released in 2007 Hadley’s team launched the network’s first app in Apple’s App Store. She continued to work on emerging digital platforms, specifically iPhone and iPad Video apps and games for Adult Swim Digital for the following years. While in Atlanta, Hadley also completed her 600-hour comprehensive Pilates teaching certification and has been teaching Pilates part time since 2009. In 2012 Hadley moved to New York City to take a job with Viacom Network’s Digital Platforms Group. She worked across all Viacom Networks, with a focus on Comedy Central, Spike TV, MTV and Nickelodeon. The following year Hadley was hired by Christie’s Art Auction House to help rebuild their global digital presence across their websites and mobile apps for the next 3 years. Hadley ultimately managed the group as Vice President of Digital Products, overseeing both client facing and employee facing products for Christie’s, as well as their e-commerce bidding products. Hadley and her husband, Doug, live in Scarsdale, New York with their two children and golden retriever. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing platform tennis, golf and teaching pilates.

Your gifts for the 2021-2022 year ensure that Prep continues to be a community of talented and dedicated faculty, staff, and coaches working tirelessly to deliver Prep students a life-changing, first-rate education that will prepare them for the world beyond Prep. Alumni Giving Week is a week dedicated for our alumni to make a difference and show your Prep Pride. ALUMNI GUEST SPEAKERS One of the ways that alumni give back is by volunteering their time and expertise with current Prep students. Throughout the year we welcome alumni back to campus to talk about their various careers and give the students insights on college and the career world.
Prep Lifer, Niles Murphy '06, was the guest speaker at our February Lunch and Learn on Thursday, February 17th to speak with a group of our upper school students about the multimedia industry. He gave the students great advice on life during college, life after college, and the ins and outs of the multimedia industry. The students asked a multitude of questions about Niles' journey through college at Dartmouth and into his career. Senior Ashlyn Parsick said, "Niles provided great insight about the growing field of media and reassured us that it is okay to try different things in your field, as long as you are willing to work hard". Niles is currently the Director of Government Relations at Cision in Washington DC.
If you are interested in participating in a monthly Lunch and Learn, Alumni Connections (our annual alumni career day), or networking and sharing insights with our upper school students please reach out to Leslie Hart, Director of Alumni Relations, at lhart@hhprep.org.
