The Board will hold a budget workshop on Monday, October 19 at 9:00 AM. Microsoft Teams will also be available for those who are out of town and would like to attend. Clubhouse Remodel: The clubhouse remodel and refresh are in the home stretch! The new bar, indoor patio, outdoor patio, and open floor plan are really giving the clubhouse a fresh new look. I’m looking forward to seeing everything completed so we can get back to enjoying our clubhouse together. 2027 Annual Interim Membership Program The process has begun for the 2027 annual interim membership program. The Board has approved 45 memberships for 2027. These annual members will pay a 20% premium over the Class A membership fee. If you are currently a Class A member and would like to downgrade to Class B for a 12-month period, please contact the Tara office to complete an application. The drawing will take place at the October 26 Board meeting, so please return your application to the Tara office as soon as possible. October Board Meeting: Our next regular Board meeting will be held on Monday, October 26 at 3:00 PM. Thank you for your continued support, involvement, and pride in our community. Together, we continue to make Tara a wonderful place to live, relax, and enjoy.

TARA COMMUNITY NEWS MESSAGE FROM DAVID TAYLOR, GENERAL MANAGER dtaylor@taragcc.com After months of planning, construction, and plenty of patience from our members, we are getting very close to seeing the refreshed clubhouse come to life. The next few weeks will bring some of the most visible changes yet. Flooring deliveries begin September 28 and will continue through the end of the month. Most of the new lighting is scheduled to arrive October 14, followed by the first major furniture delivery October 26– 30. The remaining furnishings, including outdoor umbrellas, a custom banquette, armchairs, and woven light fixtures, are currently scheduled for November 11–12. We are working to bring the woven fixtures in sooner if possible. We hope to be far enough along to host our Men’s Member-Guest in one of the new spaces, if it is finished and ready in time. It would be a wonderful opportunity to give members and their guests an early look at what we have been building together. We will make that decision as the work progresses and keep everyone informed. Our team and project partners are working hard to open the new space as soon as it is ready to welcome you. We know how eager everyone is to gather around the new bar, enjoy a meal together, and make this clubhouse feel like home again. We share that excitement. Thank you for the patience, flexibility, and encouragement you have shown throughout this project. A clubhouse is more than its walls, furniture, or finishes. It is the place where neighbors become friends and our community comes together. We cannot wait to open the doors and share this next chapter of Tara with you.

TARA GOLF HAPPENINGS MESSAGE FROM MISSY WILLIAMS, HEAD GOLF PRO 941.758.7961 x1226 | mwilliams@taragcc.com Welcome Back, Tara Members: Winter Awaits October is here, and Tara is coming back to life! We hope your summer adventures were enjoyable and that you are ready to settle into a wonderful winter golf season. As members return, the tee sheet will become increasingly active, with more rounds, events, and guests sharing the club. Thoughtful planning, timely updates, and clear communication will help everyone enjoy the season. Please take ownership of managing your tee times through the app. You can submit requests, edit player information, and cancel reservations— even up to the last minute. Handling these routine updates promptly keeps the tee sheet accurate, supports fellow members, and gives everyone the best opportunity to play. Before each round, review your reservation and confirm that the players and details are current. Remember these quick tips: · Make your request as early as possible when you know you want to play. · Update your tee time in the app when plans change, including adding, removing, or replacing players. · Cancel promptly when you can no longer play. Releasing an unwanted time may allow another member to enjoy an earlier or later round. · Bringing a guest? Add their name so the club can welcome them, and review the dress code in advance. Cargo shorts, T-shirts, and cutoffs are not permitted. · Set aside time to become comfortable with the reservation system and keep your contact and player information current. League play sign-up is handled through Golf Genius. Record your league dates as soon as they are established, familiarize yourself with the appropriate GGID, and register promptly. Keeping your league schedule current helps you honor your commitments and coordinate your golfing plans throughout the winter.

TARA COURSE HAPPENINGS MESSAGE FROM DON ABELL, COURSE SUPERINTENDENT 941.751.5593 | dabell@taragcc.com Traffic Control It is the time of the year when the golf course is busy from sunrise to sunset. Cart traffic is one of the toughest challenges the golf course faces this time of year. Golf cart traffic patterns start to appear because of the carts going over the same area. That is one of the reasons why the rough is a little longer this time of year. By having this extra leaf blade in the rough it helps reduce traffic patterns in the rough. However, the good part is when the first cold front hits the golf course the rough height will shrink and tighten up. The rough will be shorter, but there will be more leaf blades on the plant. This will help with the wear and tear of golf cart traffic that can cause unsightly and expensive damage to the golf course. Tire ruts in soft, wet areas can take weeks to heal. Compaction caused by heavy traffic can cause tight lies. The members can help prevent damage by following the course’s standard golf cart policy and obeying temporary restrictions caused by weather, construction or other factors. The following are a general list of tips that if followed, will greatly help in keeping our golf course in top playing condition. · Pay attention to any ropes, stakes or signs because they are signaling that the area should not be driven on. · Never drive a golf car through standing water or turf areas that appears overly wet. · Never drive onto a green, collar, tee, par three holes or any marked hazard. · Avoid abrupt stops and sharp turns that could cause skidding. · Avoid driving over sprinkler heads, yardage markers and drain basins. · Avoid pulling off the path near tees and greens. · Keep all four tires on the path whenever possible and do not park with the tires off of the cart path. · Everyone can help minimize the amount of wear from heavy traffic by entering and exiting at the green and white posts.

TARA MASTER COMMUNICATION MESSAGE FROM KIM LOSKOTA, PRESIDENT Dear Tara Residents, October brings a change to our season and the welcome return of many of our seasonal residents. Whether you are a year-round resident or returning for the season, we are glad to have you as part of our community and look forward to another enjoyable Florida fall and winter together! The TMA Board and its committees have been busy and would like to share the following updates with you. Board Activities: The next Board meeting will be held on October 24 at 6:00 p.m. at the Tara Preserve Community Center, and we hope to see many of you there! The 2027 budget will be presented and adopted at this meeting. There will also be discussion about a potential refresh to our front entrance. Landscape Committee: The Landscape Committee continues to focus on keeping Tara Boulevard looking fresh and beautiful. You may have noticed the following recent improvements: · New fall flowers will be added to the ends of the beautiful, tree-lined medians by mid-October. · A new three-trunk palm tree has been added to one of the medians to replace an older palm that did not survive. · Twenty-six viburnum plants were replaced along the east side of Tara Boulevard after they did not survive this summer’s drought. These plants were replaced under warranty by our landscape vendor. With all the rain we received in September, we expect the new viburnum plants to thrive. June Accident Update – Light Pole on Tara Blvd: The damaged light pole and debris were removed from the concrete median. We continue to work with our insurance and electrical companies regarding the replacement of the damaged light pole on Tara Boulevard. We appreciate your continued patience and understanding as we work through the insurance claims process. Unfortunately, these claims often take longer to resolve than we would all like, but we are continuing to follow up and work toward a resolution. Community Action Committee- Volunteers needed: The Community Action Council is the TMA’s ad hoc committee that handles issues that arise from time to time. This is the group of residents who have defended against inappropriate building on the lots at Stone River Road and Tara Blvd. One lot is under contract to build an Echo Suites Extended Stay Hotel. The TMA has an agreement with the developer that addresses our concerns. The developer has agreed to certain terms and conditions in exchange for our support. There is a committee forming to monitor the building process over the next 12 - 18 months. Anyone with legal experience, construction, or experience navigating government processes is especially needed. If you would like to volunteer, please fill out the form: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qDaEGgxoRftxNrXTEZ-NLH3wbY9lNv53/view For more information contact TMA.Director2@gmail.com.
