MESSAGE FROM RICK KERR

rkerr@hampton.golf

The golf course will undergo major changes in the next few months. Fall is approaching, and with it, overseeding will begin.

We will prepare the greens, fairways, and tees to seed, followed by numerous waterings daily to ensure our winter turf grass’s germination and healthy growth.

The seeding will take place in early October and mid-November. Every effort will be made to minimize the effect on play during these times.

The course’s progress improves each day, and the overseeding process will improve the playing experience for the winter.

Thank you from the golf maintenance staff for your support.

MESSAGE FROM BOB RIED

bried@hampton.golf

Hello Links Club!

I hope everyone has had a great summer and stayed as cool as possible; it’s been hot. As we approach the Fall months, we hope to see some milder temperatures, making great golfing weather.

I want to turn everyone’s attention to some upcoming events:

• October 24 & 25: Oktoberfest 2-Person Scramble

• November 24: Turkey Trot 4-Person Scramble

• December 13: Holiday Passholder Event

These are fun events, and your participation is greatly appreciated. This is a reminder that we have Karaoke with DJ Mark on the second Sunday of every month. This has been very popular, so come on out and join the fun.

On November 10 through 12th, the golf course will be closed for overseeding. When we reopen, we ask that everyone keep golf carts off of the fairways for about 7 to 10 days to let the seed germinate. We very much appreciate everyone’s help in this regard, as we all want the best golf course possible.

We’ve had a good year so far. Progress has been made in many areas, but we still have some challenges. We will get where we all want to be with your patience and support. There are some exciting things on the horizon, and we will make announcements as we get closer to them.

If anyone needs me for anything, my door is always open.

Until next time, see you at The Links!

Bob Ried

FACILITIES UPDATE

MESSAGE FROM VICTOR GIERACH

Hi everyone, this is Victor again!

Hope everyone had a good summer. We have had a very hot summer and have had to do some repairs. We have had to replace some toilets and doors that were showing some age. We will continue to spruce things up as needed.

If you see something that needs our attention, please let us know. We will do our best to make any necessary repairs. In the meantime, enjoy the bar, restaurant and golf course.
