MEMBERSHIP
The founders of Northland Country Club dreamed of creating a superb Golf Course and Club with a limited Membership. Nearly 125 years later, that tradition continues. Membership at Northland is a legacy of pride, and it’s a place where you’ll find your own. In addition to our Golf Course, we offer two lighted Tennis Courts, Duluth’s only heated outdoor pool, a beautiful Clubhouse featuring full dining and banquet services. All of our Memberships give you the opportunity to make lasting friendships, work, play, entertain and share in a special kind of camaraderie you have to experience to fully understand.
CHAMPIONSHIP GOLF COURSE
The stunning 18-hole Donald Ross-designed Golf Course, with famously challenging greens, is recognized as one of the top five in Minnesota and in 2013 one of the top 100 Classic Golf Courses in the United States. The Course features 6,825 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. The wooded, gently rolling course, with amazing views of Lake Superior, is tough enough for low handicappers, yet is still eminently enjoyable for higher handicappers.
CLUB DINING
Northland’s Culinary Team continues to amaze Members and their Guests with daily features, seasonal menu options, and specialty nights. Executive Chef and his Team create extraordinary cuisine using the freshest ingredients, many of which are sustainable and locally sourced. Enjoy a superb, casual and fine dining experience in the J.R. Link Grill or Fireside Dining Room with their spectacular views of the Golf Course and Lake Superior. When the weather is fair, we also have outdoor dining options available.
DULUTH'S BEST POOL
Members of Northland Country Club enjoy the city’s only full-size, heated outdoor swimming pool that features a zero-entry pool for kids, patio area, sunning deck, snack shop, full bar and poolside food and beverage service. For your convenience, there are showers, lockers, changing areas, and restrooms located at the pool. Certified lifeguards are on duty at all times. Open all season long, the pool offers endless entertainment and relaxation on long summer days for Members and their families.
NORTHLAND TENNIS
Northland Country Club offers its Members two lighted tennis courts, which also splits into four pickleball courts, and the Tennis Hut building where families are encouraged to be a part of the action at the courts. It’s more than just a perk of membership— it’s a main feature! A seasonal tennis professional is on staff to offer a variety of group clinics and private lessons.
FULL GOLF MEMBERSHIP
This comprehensive Membership classification includes the Club’s complete amenities offering and full access to all our recreation, dining, and facility opportunities. You, your spouse, and any dependents under the age of 23 are free to enjoy unlimited rounds of golf, tennis matches, and time at the pool. You will enjoy delicious lunches, dinners, and cocktails in any dining area, full access to private dining and meeting spaces, complimentary event-planning personnel, and invitations to special Member-only events throughout the year.

CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP
Enjoy all the benefits of being a Full Golf Member. The corporation/company owns the Membership. The corporation/company will designate at least three Membership beneficiaries, who will have the same full privileges as a Golf Member. A future transferability clause preserves the long-term value of the company-sponsored Membership, ensuring you never pay initiation fees twice on each Membership.

SENIOR MEMBERSHIP
A person having reached the age of 70 who is eligible for a Golf Membership, including having a share of stock issued for his/her account and benefit and having the same full privileges of a Golf Member.

MONTHLY FOOD & BEVERAGE MINIMUM: $100

YOUNG EXECUTIVE MEMBERSHIP
Any person between the ages of 27 and 39, inclusive, and includes having a share of stock for his/her account and benefit, have the same privileges as a Golf Member.
ONE TIME INITIATION FEE: $6,000 | ANNUAL DUES: $4,632 ($386 per month)
MONTHLY FOOD & BEVERAGE MINIMUM: $100
ONE TIME STOCK FEE: $100 | *ANNUAL GOLF FEE: $300
*Annual Golf Fee: This service fee provides club storage and cleaning for one bag, unlimited use of the Driving Range and Practice Facilities, online tee time service, GHIN handicap for one Member and the Evans Scholarship support. Also includes valet items such as fresh towels, toiletries, shoe care, soft spike replacement and new laces. Initiation Fees are non-refundable. Pricing does not include sales tax and subject to change without notice. Members without a paid annual trail fee are required to pay cart fees. Some restrictions apply.
JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP
Any individual between the ages of 18 and 26, both inclusive, can have the benefits of year round Membership including Golf, Pool, Tennis and Clubhouse Amenities.

NATIONAL MEMBERSHIP
The National Membership grants full golf privileges to those who do not own, lease, rent, or otherwise possess or maintain a home within a 100-mile radius of the Club. To qualify, no Member (or family member) can occupy a Residence within the 100-mile radius for more than 30 days between May 1 and September 30 or more than 60 days during any calendar year, irrespective of the place of legal Residence.

POOL & TENNIS MEMBERSHIP
Pool & Tennis Members have full access to the outdoor heated, zero-entry pool and the two lighted Tennis Courts. You may sign up for group or private lessons with one of the Tennis Pros or the lifeguard-certified Pool Team. You will also enjoy delicious lunches, dinners, and cocktails in any of our dining areas, with full access to private dining and meeting spaces, complimentary event-planning personnel, and invitations to special Memberonly events throughout the year. Pool & Tennis Members may also sign up for a private lesson on the golf practice tee, though this Membership class does not allow rounds of golf, driving range access, or league play for you, your spouse or dependent children.

SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP
Social Members can experience the excellent cuisine prepared by one of the best Culinary Teams in the State. You and your family can enjoy impeccable service, casual dining, spectacular holiday buffets, and fun special events yearround. You can also sign up for a private lesson on the golf practice tee, though this Membership class does not allow rounds of golf, driving range access, league play, youth golf programs, or use of the tennis or pool facilities.

HOW LONG DOES THE APPLICATION PROCESS TAKE? It usually takes 2-3 days for your paperwork to be processed.
HOW DO I MAKE A TEE TIME?
Tee times can be made through the Member Website or by calling the Golf Shop at 218.525.1970.
ARE
DINING RESERVATIONS REQUIRED?
Dinner reservations are suggested, however, lunch reservations are not necessary. To make a dinner reservation, you may call the Club: 218.525.1941.
WHAT ARE THE GRATUITY/TIPPING POLICIES?
An automatic 20% service charge is added to all food and beverage purchases. For outside golf operations, tipping is at the discretion of the Member.
MAY I BRING GUESTS TO NORTHLAND COUNTRY CLUB?
We encourage Members to bring their friends. Guest fees vary, depending on the time of year.
