Cornwall

England’s most westerly corner is a rugged peninsula that clings to local customs, legends, and an ancient language all its own. And in the same way Cornish miners once chiselled precious metals from the earth, Cornwall has carved out a place for itself as a world-class holiday destination.

There are 422 miles of wow-worthy coastal walking paths to explore, plus a treasure trove of charming harbour towns, standout surfing spots, and top attractions like the Eden Project. The name on everyone’s lips here though is St Ives – the west coast seaside hub that has helped inspire generations of artists with its working harbour, white-sand beaches, and surrounding landscape.

Isle of Wight

A year-round favourite for coastal walks, quiet beaches, and better-than-average British weather, the Isle of Wight has earned its status as a much-loved National Landscape.

Dramatic chalk-white cliffs look out over the blue-green waters of the Solent, and winding hedge-fringed roads lead to thatched-roof villages where time seems to have stood still. If the mild climate and scenery weren’t enough, the Isle of Wight offers outdoor activities galore and enough heritage to fill a history book.

South Downs

It’s no surprise that the South Downs inspired William Blake to pen the words to Jerusalem. Ancient woodland, chalk cliffs, and miles of coastline welcome visitors to what’s fondly known as the Gateway to England.

Around a quarter of the South Downs is woodland, making it the most thickly forested national park in England and Wales. The dense woods of Kingley Vale are home to the oldest trees in the country as well as mysterious Bronze Age burial chambers known as the Devil’s Humps. There’s also a collection of Sussex’s finest stately homes to discover including 16th-century Parham House, or natural wonders such as Devil’s Dyke.

But that’s not all you’ll find here. There are miles of glorious coastline fringed with clifftop paths and footed by beautiful beaches. For many though, the real showstopper is Whitby – the seaside resort famous for its fishing heritage, Gothic abbey, and Dracula connections.

Southern Yorkshire Dales

The Southern Yorkshire Dales set the bar high for knockout views and natural wonders. There’s Malham Cove, a striking amphitheatre-shaped limestone formation, and Gordale Scar, an ancient gorge that ranks among the Yorkshire Dales National Park’s most iconic landmarks. Other not-to-be-missed highlights include Malham Tarn, England’s highest lime-rich lake, or Janet’s Foss, an enchanting waterfall steeped in local folklore.

Then, of course, you’ve got the Yorkshire Three Peaks - Pen-y-ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough. This trio of towering summits, the highest in the region, can be conquered over one exhilarating weekend.

All sparkling lochs surrounded by mighty Munros, walks here are every bit as spectacular as you’d expect. What’s more, wildlife is boosted by Glen Coe’s National Nature Reserve status, so be on the lookout for herds of Scottish red deer roaming the glens.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is mandatory for everyone travelling on our holidays (including UK holidays). Whilst you hopefully won’t have to make a claim, travel insurance is there to protect you if something goes wrong - it can cover you for medical costs should you need treatment abroad; if your flights are delayed and it can cover you if your possessions are stolen whilst travelling. For extra peace of mind, if you need to cancel your holiday before the departure date, cancellation charges are applicable, and you may be able to recoup your losses through your travel insurance (subject to any applicable policy excess).

ATOL & ABTOT protection

All the flights and flight-inclusive holidays in this brochure are financially protected by the ATOL scheme. When you pay you will be supplied with an ATOL Certificate. Please ensure that everything you booked is listed on it. Please see our booking conditions for further information or to find out more about financial protection and the ATOL Certificate go to: atol.org.uk/ ATOLCertificates. If you choose land only, you will be responsible for making your own travel arrangements, including your flights and airport transfers at your destination. Holidays without flights are still ABTOT bonded, but please note that if you choose to book your own flights you won’t be covered under our ATOL protection. For full details see our booking conditions.
