Fuel suction pressure, checking

Special tools: 885813, 9990150, 9998493

1. Unscrew the fuel union (1) on the fuel filter pump.

Screw nipple 885813 onto the fuel filter bracket and screw fuel union (1) onto the nipple.

Connect pressure gauge 9990150 to the nipple.

Hose 9998493 can be connected between the pressure gauge and the nipple. NOTE! A new fuel filter should be used during this check.

2. Start the engine and read off the fuel suction pressure across the entire engine speed range.

Compare the measured values with the ”Technical data”.
