SAFETY LABELS

The following safety labels must be periodically cleaned and inspected to ensure legibility is maintained. Replace any label that becomes illegible, damaged or removed.

OPERATOR'S MANUAL LOCATION READ AND UNDERSTAND THE OPERATOR'S MANUAL.

This label indicates the storage location of the operator's manual.

KEEP CLEAR

This label warns persons outside the cab to keep clear of the machine while in use. Always keep clear of on operating machine. When approaching an operating machine on foot, stay at least 150 m (500 ft) away from the machine and all related attachments including the grapple, delimber, topping saw and ground saws until the operator recognizes your presence. Make sure that all equipment is shut down with the attachment resting securely on stable ground before advancing to the machine. Always avoid the discharge path of all saws if equipped. Always read the operator's manual before operating the machine. Pay close attention to WARNING and HAZARD identifications. The operator's manual will help the operator understand how the machine works and how to properly operate the machine. In addition, read and understand all manuals for any attachments or accessories. DO NOT OPERATE THE MACHINE until you have read and thoroughly understand the operator's manual and the fundamentals of operating the machine.

EMERGENCY EXIT, HAND TIGHTEN ONLY SLIPPERY SURFACE - NO STEP

This label indicates the escape hatch can be used as an emergency exit. It also indicates the escape hatch knobs should be hand tightened only to allow for easy exit. Make sure all exit locations are functioning properly. Refer to EMERGENCY EXIT – MAINTENANCE GUIDE in SECTION 2 of the OPERATOR'S MANUAL.

This label warns of an EXPLOSION HAZARD. The engine is equipped with a heater starting aid, do not use ether to assist in starting the engine.

Using ether could cause an explosion which could result in death or serious injury.

This label warns of a slippery surface, DO NOT STEP OR WALK on the surface. Some surfaces are equipped with a non-skid work surface. It is only recommended to stand or work on surfaces with a non-skid work surface. Do not stand or work on the areas that are not equipped with a non-skid work surface. Falls caused by slippery surfaces can result in personal injury.

MAXIMUM WEIGHT RESTRICTION

This label warns of a maximum weight restriction on the right side service door. MAXIMUM 225 kg (500 lb). Exceeding the weight limit can cause failure of the service door which could result in

personal injury.

STORED ENERGY HAZARD NO RIDERS

This label warns of a STORED ENERGY HAZARD. The machine is equipped with an accumulator. The accumulator has stored energy in the form of hydraulic pressure. Servicing the accumulator or any hydraulic components before releasing pressure could result in death or serious injury. Do not service accumulator or any hydraulic components before releasing pressure.

NO RIDERS INSIDE OR OUTSIDE OF THE

MACHINE. Do not carry passengers either in the cab or anywhere else on the machine. The vehicle seating accommodation is for one operator only. Persons riding on the outside of the machine are subject to hazards such as falling off the machine, crush hazards, thrown object hazards and many other hazards which could result in death or serious injury. If any person attempts to climb onto the machine during operation, stop the machine immediately. Do not operate the machine until other personnel are a safe distance away from the machine.

ELECTROCUTION HAZARD! ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD

Contact with electric lines WILL RESULT IN DEATH OR SERIOUS INJURY! Do not move any part of the machine or load within 10 feet (3m) plus 2 times line insulator length of any electric lines! Before beginning work in any area study the area thoroughly and become familiar with any potential hazards especially electrocution hazards from electric lines.

This label warns of the potential of a severe shock hazard. Turn OFF the battery disconnect switch before removing the battery compartment cover.

Make sure the positive battery cables are disconnected before performing any service.

Do not short out the battery terminals for any reason. Serious burns and/or an explosion can result. Read and understand all service manual instructions before servicing this machine.

This label warns personnel to KEEP BACK 150 m (500 ft) due to flying projectiles and falling trees. Danger exists predominantly around the harvesting head. When approaching an operating machine on foot, stay at least 150 m (500 ft) away until the operator recognizes your presence. Make sure that all equipment has been shut down before advancing to the machine.
