Model 6210 Maintenance Manual Delta-Q Charger Codes
The Charge Profile / Error Display shows one of four possible codes to indicate different conditions:
•An ‘F’ code means that an internal fault condition has caused charging to stop.
•An ‘E’ code means that an external error condition has caused charging to stop.
Section 6.Messages and Codes
Delta-Q Charger Codes
•A ‘P’ code means that the charger programming mode is active.
•A ‘USB’ code means that the USB interface is active, and the USB flash drive should not be removed
The ‘E,’ ‘F’ and ‘P’ codes will appear, then are followed by three numbers and a period to indicate different conditions (for exemple: E-0-0-4). See the “Charger Fault Codes” or “Charger Error Codes” tables for details on these conditions and their solutions.
CodeDescriptionSolution
F-0-0-1DC-DC failure: LLC excessive leakage fault. Internal charger fault. Remove AC and battery for minimum 30 seconds and retry charger. If it fails again, please contact the manufacturer of your vehicle or machine.
F-0-0-2PFC failure: PFC excessive leakage fault.
F-0-0-3PFC has taken too long to boost.
F-0-0-4The charger has been unable to calibrate the current offset.
F-0-0-5The voltage drop across the DC relay is too high while the relay is closed.
CodeDescriptionSolution
E-0-0-1Battery voltage over limit in software. Typically 2.5V/cell.
•Check the battery voltage and cable connections.
•Verify the charger voltage model is appropriate for the batteries.
•This error will automatically clear once the condition has been corrected.
E-0-0-2Battery voltage too low to start a charge cycle. Algorithm dependent – typically 0.1V/cell.
•Check the battery voltage and cable connections.
•Check the battery size and condition. Batteries may be over-discharged. Use another charger to bring the batteries above the minimum voltage.
•This error will automatically clear once the condition has been corrected.
