ARTING THE VEHICLE

General Information

Before putting the key the ignition set the parking (spring) disengage the clutch (if equipped) and put the transmission

Push Button Starters

Put the key the ignition T urn the key clockwise the first (about two position) activate the Depress the starter button and release soon the engine Keep the clutch (if equipped) disengaged until the engine runs smoothly .

Air Starters

chassis equipped with air starter , make sure that the air pressure gauge reads a maximum 120 psi before shutting down and parking for the night. This will ensure suf ficient air pressure for restarting the engine.

W Arning

Make sur e clutch depr essed and transmission neutral befor e engaging the starter! Failur e could cause the vehicle jerk forward unexpectedly causing serious damage bodily harm.
