Opening the Hood

T o open the release the locking tabs each side the C0029952

With the hood the locked position, pull outward the plastic handle and disengage the locking tab from the hood latch.

Swing the rubber strap and out the way

Repeat this procedure the other side the hood.

Note: When the hood opened, the safety latch will drop down into the locked C0029838

Using the Bulldog a pull the hood raise over the Y may put one foot the bumper necessary

Pull steadily the hood until comes over the center and stops fully open.

NEVER take both feet off the ound tilt the hood. Keep least one foot the ound avoid a slip fall. difficult for you raise the hood, get the help someone who can lift the r ear the hood.

Closing the Hood

Note: Remember remove all rags and test equipment from the engine compartment before closing the hood.

With the hood down, set the rubber strap position and force the locking discs into the hood latch.

Push inward the plastic handle lock the rubber strap

Repeat this procedure the other side the hood.
