DPF INHIBIT ROAD SPEED LIMITING (RSL)

The DPF Smart Switch can locked into the DOWN (or Inhibit Regen) position the driver (if the DPF Smart Switch remains the locked the following vehicle speed limiting will occur:

1 V ehicle Moving. vehicle moving with the DPF Smart Switch the locked (DOWN) position, the vehicle speed will decrease down kph (10 mph) below the current speed until the driver releases the switch back the neutral (MIDDLE) position.

2 V ehicle Stationary and then the vehicle stationary with the DPF Smart Switch the locked (DOWN) position and the driver then begins move the truck, the vehicle speed will limited kph (10 mph) until the driver releases the switch back the neutral (MIDDLE) position.

Beginning with your 2010 compliant V ehicle, Board Diagnostics (OBD) introduced. This very similar the Board Diagnostics (OBD) system that has been required passenger cars for many years.

Board Diagnostics (OBD) a system that monitors the functions emissions related components and alerts the vehicle operator any detected need for emission related repair . When the systems detects a needed repair emissions related component activates the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL).
