OPERA TION
The following checks may used diagnose any problems which may arise with Remote Keyless Entry system
Remember check all
Lower the windows, turn the ignition key the OFF position and close the doors.
Stand near the driver ’ s side door , aim the transmitter the vehicle and operate both functions the transmitter . Repeat for all transmitters, applicable.
• a single function one transmitter replace the transmitter
• all functions any the transmitters are inoperative, reprogram all transmitters and repeat the troubleshooting procedures. Refer the "Programming the T ransmitter" section.
• one transmitter cannot replace the battery the transmitter Refer the all functions all transmitters operate, stand approximately five feet from the vehicle (at several points around the vehicle), and check the operation all transmitters each point.
• one transmitter does not operate some point where another transmitter does operate, replace the battery the transmitter that does not operate.

Programming the T ransmitter: T urn the ignition switch the Access the keyless entry module, located behind the DPanel.
Push the Program switch the keyless entry module three The program LED the module will indicate you are now the T ransmitter Programming necessary , repeat Step 3 program the 2nd, 3rd and 4th transmitters.
Press any button one the transmitters until the horn responds with a chirp and the LED will flash once, confirm the first transmitter now programmed.
Note: more than four transmitters are the system will only retain the last four transmitters programmed.
T o exit Programming Mode, turn the ignition switch the OFF position, simply wait seconds. The LED will f confirm exit.
Feature Programming:
T urn the ignition switch the position.
Access the keyless entry located behind the D -
Push the Program switch the keyless entry module six times. The horn will chirp six times, and the program LED the module will solid, indicate you are now the Feature Programming Mode.
Press and release the transmitter button corresponding the feature you want
