OPERA TION

• Air tubing and electrical wiring: secured against snagging and Left Fuel T ank(s)

• Securely mounted and not damaged leaking.

• Fuel lines secure and not leaking. Check that shut - f valves are open.

• T ank(s) full Cap and Battery Area

• Open the battery Battery box securely mounted

• Batteries secured against movement.

• Battery cases not broken Battery cables free from the Cab

• T ops batteries and terminals clean and free from foreign material.

• equipped, replace battery lid and make sure securely fastened.

• Check steps and grab handles for looseness clean them there any substance that makes them slippery , which makes cab entry/exit

• Start the engine. equipped, check that exhaust rain cap opens when accelerating engine.

• Check gauges and tell - tale light See the Instruments and Controls

• Check function low air warning.

• Check clutch check for clutch brake

• Check windshield wipers and washers and including back -

• Clean inside windshield, door windows and instruments. Clean mirrors.

• Check temperature control and defroster check mirror heater

• Check condition warning triangles, fire extinguisher and flares.

• Adjust the Check mirror

• Check safety belts for function and damage.

• Apply service After initial pressure should hold steady , increase slightly , with engine

• Check steering wheel for excessive free play .

• Check for loose items the cab. Secure them necessary .

Fifth Wheel T railer Hitch
