Machine Concept

The engine (2) is mounted across the frame (1). This ensures a direct drive with maximum efficiency. As the diesel tank is positioned low down in the frame, the machine has a low center of gravity, guaranteeing safe working on slopes. The forage harvester is driven fully hydraulically by wheel motors without speed gearbox. This design provides space for a large foraging unit over the front axle. Thanks to the good arrangement of the foraging unit and the positioning of the engine behind the rear axle, the weight can be distributed optimally on the front and rear axles of 60%: 40%.
