33.1.3.1 REMOVING

(1) Remove cover assy (1). 1. Loosen 4 sems bolts (22) M12X30. 2. Remove cover assy (1).

(2) Remove battery cover 1. Remove cable (A4) [between the earth and battery (-)]. (Always remove (-) terminal first and install it at last.) 2. Remove cable (A6) [between battery (+) and (-)] 3. Removecable (A5) [between battery (+) and battery relay] Tools: Spanner: 13mm

(3) Remove battery (B1) 1. Remove rubber (A2). 2. Loosen 2 capscrews (A4) M10X200. Tools: Socket: 17mm 3. Remove plate (A1). 4. Remove battery (B1). 1

Removing and installing battery cable

Follow the battery removal order. Start removing battery from grounding side, and finish attaching to grounding side. If this order is missed, shortcircuits may occur.
