Danger of accidents if the lifting gear is incorrectly slung!
GThe slinging points for the different rigging modes of the two-stage swingaway lattice extension can be seen in the following drawing. Sling the sections to these slinging points only, as they then automatically have the correct centre of gravity. Only use sling gear with sufficient load bearing capacity; Weight of individual parts à p.2-1 and p.2-3.
On the 12.5 m (41 ft) section there are five slinging points (welded-on rope holders). The following diagram shows which slinging points you must use for particular rigging modes.
