9.Before actuating the rocker switch for swivelling the maize header ensure that nobody is standing between the drive wheels and maize header.

10.Make sure nobody is standing within the swinging range when swivelling the maize header. 11.Increased risk of injury when installing and removing the knives. 12.Intake augers, intake discs and similar cannot be fully secured by design measures because of their function. Therefore, keep an adequate safety distance from these moving parts during operation. 13.Never start drive shafts turning without appropriate protection. 14.Use safety chains to prevent the drive shaft guards from rotating with the drive shaft. 15.Always switch off the drive and the engine before carrying out troubleshooting, and for repair, maintenance and cleaning work. –Remove the ignition key. –Switch off the battery master switch. 16.Always switch off the battery master switch before starting work on the electrical system. 17.Reinstall protective devices after maintenance work. 18.Mounting the maize header onto the forager involves risk of injury. 19.Make sure nobody is standing between the forager and the maize header unless the vehicle is secured with the parking brake and/or wheel chocks to prevent it from rolling away. Follow all other safety rules in the operator's manual for the forage harvester.
