–Unhook the hydraulic cylinder (Z) at the pivot point(P). –Push the pendulum housing (E) to the outside until the hydraulic cylinder (Z) is fully retracted.
Hold the pendulum housing (E) in this position.
Stop the diesel engine. –Hang in the pendulum housing (E) at (P).
The dimension (Q) must have been reduced by dimension (F).
If necessary, adjust dimension (Q) at the yoke (G) with the lock nut (B) slackened off. –Hang in control lever (C) and hydraulic cylinder(Z). (Fig.23)
Adjusting the pivot arm with the 3-D gauge
The 3-D gauge (D) is available as spare part no. 000757 696 0. –Place the machine in a horizontal position. –Set the sieve pan exactly to centre position. –Let diesel engine run briefly in order to set the pendulum housing to centre position. –Stop the diesel engine. –Place the 3-D gauge (D) on the pivot arm.
Ensure that the 3-D gauge (D) is in-centre on bolt (B) and shaft stub (W). –Make adjustments on the control lever (C).
To this end remove the ball head and slacken off the lock nut. –Refit the ball head. –Tighten the lock nut. (Fig.24)
4.1.3 Prepare and carry out a test run.
–Carry out the following work before the test run: – Retighten the threaded joints of all newly fitted parts. – Refit any safety features previously removed. – Check the hydraulic oil level. Top up if necessary. – Check the gearbox oil levels of fitted component. Top up if necessary. – Put back the tools used. – Check retrofitted and/or removed electrical connections. – Grease all newly added lubrication points. –Check adjustments on the machine. –Carry out a test run. –Check the hydraulic oil level. Top up if necessary.
