Special instructions relating to placing the tractor on axle stands
► It is essential that flat, horizontal and firm ground is used when placing the tractor on axle stands. Position the axle stands: ► At the rear, under the rear axle tubes. ► At the front, either side of the front axle differential casing. ► To install the axle stands under the tractor, it is essential first to raise the tractor using the correct lifting tools. ► Use axle stands that are suitable for the weight of the tractor in question. Refer to the specifications of the tractor to carefully choose the appropriate axle stands and lifting device. ► Do not start the engine when the axle stands are positioned under the rear axle of the tractor. The tractor may become unbalanced if the brakes are activated (service brake or handbrake). ► If it is necessary to start the engine: ► The axle stands must be positioned under both the rear axle and the front axle of the tractor. ► Apply the handbrake.
