Protection against overrevving: Downshifting is authorized if gear changing does not produce an engine speed exceeding 2820 rev/min. When the oil temperature is below 10 °C, only the A4, B4, C4 gears are accessible. When the oil temperature exceeds 105 °C, the indicator is lit on the instrument panel. When the oil pressure drops below 8 bars, the Hexashift shifts automatically to gear 4 in the range engaged.
