Load handling

Always check the bearing capacity and the fastening of the bridge before loading or unloading. If you need to drive the truck onto another vehicle, ensure that the vehicle cannot move during this procedure. Do not drive to the edges of a loading bridge because there is always the risk of overturning.

4. Operating devices

Control panel

Key switch (1)

The key switch connects the truck's electrical equipment to the battery circuit.

• 0 = power off (power can still be connected to certain electric devices). • 1 = power on.

Emergency stop (2)

In the event of an emergency, push emergency stop button down.

• To release the emergency stop button, turn it counterclockwise and let it pop up by itself.

The truck can be completely disconnected from the power source by unplugging the battery connector. The battery connector can be found underneath the battery cover.

Truck display (3)

The device displays the indication of operational hours (1), status of speed reduction (2), system alarm codes (3) and level of battery charge (4).

The PIN code entry device activates the truck. With the entry device you can also activate a Driver Present mode, which uses an internal timer. If there is no driver input for a predefined time, the truck will automatically shut down. For more information, see section "Using the PIN code entry device (optional)" in chapter 5.

Tiller arm

Safety button (1)

The safety button prevents you from getting squeezed between the truck and an obstacle. When you push the safety button, the truck reverses its travelling direction and stops when the button is released, if the speed control is also released at the same time. NOTE Never use the safety button for normal driving. The safety button is disabled when driving on the platform. Check the operation of the safety button daily before you start working with the forklift truck.

Push buttons for lifting and lowering (2)

Horn (3)

Steering (4)

The tiller arm turns ± 100 degrees. The truck may be equipped with an electronic steering system; see section "Electronic Steering System" in chapter 5.
