• Check the length of the lifting chains. When the carriages are level with the mast, the chains should be slightly loose. Adjust if necessary. (Does not apply to pallet trucks.) • Apply a thin layer of lubrication on the mast's guide surfaces.

NOTE

Do not let water onto the electrical devices.

9. Service

Only adequately trained people are allowed to carry out service operations. The terms of the warranty prescribe appropriate maintenance of the truck. All spare parts must be original ones. It is recommended that you sign a maintenance agreement with the truck dealer, who can also supply spare parts. Only professional service ensures long-term, trouble-free truck operation. Service program monitoring becomes easier if you enter the service dates in a service logbook. Contact our service organisation or your truck dealer for qualified, authorised and efficient maintenance service.

Semi-annual inspection service (or 600 h)

Check and, if necessary, adjust or repair:

• Contactors, switches, solenoids and their cables. • Operation of the accelerator. • Operation of the hydraulic valve. • Condition of the forks. • Clean and lubricate the lifting chains and check for stretch. • Attachment of the cylinders and the locking of the settings. • Driving, steering, and pump motors. Clean the dust. • Operation of the hydraulics and pressure limit valves. • Wear of the drive wheel. The wheels should be changed at the latest when 10 mm of the tread is left. • Lifting chain wheels and chain guards. • Driver's cabinet. • Battery locking mechanism. • Oil filter. • Fastening of the gearbox. • Air gap of the parking brake.

Annual maintenance (or 1200 h)

Change the following once a year:

• Hydraulic oil • Transmission oil.

Monthly lubrication

The truck's lubricating points should be lubricated once a month:

• Transmission (1) • Reach carriage (2) (applies only to reach trucks).

Hydraulic oil ISO VG 32 In cold storage: ISO VG 15

Opening the covers.

1. Remove the arm rest and the cover plate (1). 2. Open screws and remove the equipment case (2). 3. Open the machinery cover (3). 4. Open screws and remove the platform plate (4).

Transmission oil: SAE 80W/90, API: GL-4 Fill to the volume of 4.5 l. Lubricating grease: NLGI No. 2, containing molybdenumdisulphide.
