Bidirectional Cutting Cycle Beginning at Tailgate

The shearer can now cut back into the tailgate as shown below.

Bidirectional Cutting Cycle – Step 7 – Shearer in TG

The system is now ready for the shearer to cut back to the headgate. This the same position as Step 1 shown above except it is reversed: the shearer is in the TG instead of in the HG.
