ALARMS

21. AIR CONDITIONER - 4-position selector switch that controls the air conditioner operating modes.

22. TEMP - Temperature control that adjusts the temperature in the operator's cab.

23. SEE OPERATOR INTERFACE UNIT (OIU) - Indicates a malfunction in one of the systems controlled by the CPU. Check the OIU screen to determine the problem.

24. CAB LIGHTS - 2-position switch that turns the cab lights on and off.

ALARMS

Alarms are located on the front of the right hand console. They include:

FAULT ALARM - Rounds off in a fast pulse in conjunction with a fault light(s). The alarm can be silenced by stopping the machine and pushing the LE button.

BOARDING ALARM - A continuous alarm when activated by one of the pull chords at the rear of the machine. The alarm is deactivated with release of the pull chord.

CROWD MOTION LIMIT - A chime indicating the dipper handle is into the crowd or retract limits.
