MACHINERY HOUSE

The machinery house rotates using swing motor assemblies that engage a 360º circular segmented rack gear assembly mounted on the Tub. The machinery house contains the main powered elements of this machine: Hoist and Drag machinery, including seven separate motors per machinery unit, two gearcases, and drums. Swing machinery, including eight separate motor and gear packages. Propel machinery, including two separate motors, gear, and walking assemblies for each side.
