OPERATOR CONTROLS IN THE MACHINERY HOUSE
Machinery House Operator Control Panel
1. INTAKE FAN 1 ON, green light; ON when intake fan 1 running. 2. INTAKE FAN 1 START/STOP, spring return to center switch to START or STOP intake fan 1 3. INTAKE FAN 2 ON, green light; ON when intake fan 2 running. 4. INTAKE FAN 2 START/STOP, spring return to center switch to START or STOP intake fan 2
5. INTAKE FAN 3 ON, green light; ON when intake fan 3 running. 6. INTAKE FAN 3 START/STOP, spring return to center switch to START or STOP intake fan 3 7. INTAKE FAN 4 ON, green light; ON when intake fan 4 running. 8. INTAKE FAN 4 START/STOP, spring return to center switch to START or STOP intake fan 4 9. INTAKE FAN 5 ON, green light; ON when intake fan 5 running. 10. INTAKE FAN 5 START/STOP, spring return to center switch to START or STOP intake fan 5 11. LAMP TEST, will light all lamps to check for operation. 12. SYSTEM RUN push button (black), is used to start the machine. 13. NORMAL STOP push button (Red), shuts the machine down in a controlled manner; allows cooling fans to run for a time delay after machine shutdown. 14. SYSTEM READY light (green), will be ON when there are no faults to prevent machine operation. 15. FAULT RESET push button (black), used to reset faults if possible to allow system ready light to turn on.
16. COOLING SYSTEM ON light (green), will be ON when the water cooling system for the drives is on.
17. COOLING SYSTEM FAULT light (red), will be ON when the water cooling system has a fault. 18. DC BUS PRECHARGE light (green), ON while the control system precharges the DC bus in each of the drive cabinets.
19. PRECHARGE INCOMPLETE light (red), ON if the precharge does not complete in a specified time.
20. DC BUS ON light (green), ON when all of the main transformers are on line and the control system is regulating the DC bus in each of the drive cabinets. 21. DC BUS INCOMPLETE light (red), ON if any of the main transformers do not come online in a specified time. 22. APT 1 Ph. Seq. OK light (green), ON when the phase rotation of APT 1 is correct; must be on for machine operation. 23. APT 2 Ph. Seq. OK light (green). ON when the phase rotation of APT 2 is correct; must be on for machine operation. 24. EMERGENCY STOP push button (red), that will set ALL brakes and de-energize ALL controllers when pressed.
