Inspection and servicing

Fix an instruction sticker (Fig. 3-1:): in the cab, on the hydraulic oil tank and on hydraulically-operated attachment.

Environmentally compatible hydraulic fluid - Sampling

Complete sets are compiled for hydraulic fluid analysis. They contain all necessary parts.

Sets are available from the Terex Germany Spare-Parts Service: Part-No. 1 465 077.

Hydraulic fluid analyses are performed by: WEARCHECK GmbH Bahnhofstraße 75 D-83098 Brannenburg

After 30 - 50 operating hours with environmentally compatible hydraulic fluid, take a sample of the hydraulic fluid. Send this sample in to the above address for analysis. The company will then notify you of the result of the analysis.

Start up the machine. Check level in hydraulic tank according to servicing plan.

The hydraulic fluid may dissolve deposits in the hydraulic system. So change all filters 30 - 50 operating hours after making the change. Make further filter changes according to servicing plan.

Sample the hydraulic fluid after 30 - 50 operating hours and send in for analysis. (See section: "Environmentally compatible hydraulic fluid, sampling").

After this, Terex Germany recommends sending in a sample for analysis every 1000 operating hours or once a year.

It is essential that the hydraulic fluid should be analysed not later than after 3000 operating hours.

The results of the analysis show whether the hydraulic fluid is still serviceable and the changing interval can be extended. In case of questions contact the Terex Germany Service.
