OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS RH 30 F Operation
Do not perform any adjusting or repair work on the overload warning system.
Adjustments and repairs might lead to improper functioning or even to complete failure of the overload warning system.
Putting the overload warning system out of operation
If the machine is used exclusively for normal excavator work, the overload warning system must be deactivated with switch (56, Fig. 2-72:).
Pipe burst protection
The pipe burst protection prevents uncontrolled lowering of the working equipment if a hydraulic line to the boom cylinder bursts.
The hydraulic port on the rod-side of the boom cylinder is blocked off so that the hydraulic oil in the cylinder can flow out only if the "boom lowering" function is activated.
When a hydraulic line has broken:
Warn persons in the vicinity of the machine by sounding the signal horn. Stop working.
Secure the area within reach of the working equipment and the attached load. Persons must be prevented from entering the hazard zone under the working equipment or the suspended load.
Replace the broken hydraulic line or have it replaced before continuing the work.
Absorb spilt hydraulic oil and dispose of oilsoaked cleaning rags, binding agents, etc. without polluting the environment.
