Inspection and servicing

Water filter

Risk of scalding from hot cooling liquid.

Read and observe: "Inspection and servicing – Safety instructions".

The filter housings may be hot, too. Wear protective gloves and firm working clothing. Collect escaping cooling liquid and discard without polluting the environment.

Replace water filter regularly according to the maintenance plans:

 Close valve (2, Fig. 3-45:).

 Unscrew water filter (1).

 Screw on new water filter until the sealing ring contacts the filter head. Continue to tighten the filter by another ½ to ¾ turn.

Tightening the filter element with a tool can damage or deform the filter head.

 Open valve (2).

 After a short period of working time, check for leaks.
