Entering and leaving the machine Safety instructions

Clean off oil, grease, soil, mud, snow, ice and other substances from footwear, grab handles, ladders and steps.

Keep ladders, steps, platforms and grab handles in a non-slippery condition. Risk of injury due to slipping.

For entering and leaving use only the ladders, steps, platforms and grab handles provided (cf. illustration in Fig. 2-6:).

Always face the machine when entering or leaving it

Ramp-type ladder

Retracting or extending the ramp-type ladder (Fig. 2-6:)

Retract ladder completely and engage. The hydraulic function are not fully enabled until the ladder has engaged

Extending the ramp-type ladder press pedal (2, Fig. 2-7:) and actuate switch (1).

Retracting the ramp-type ladder

Actuate switch (1, Fig. 2-7:).

The switch (1) is located beside the superstructure entrance door.
