5.Replace the seal refill the new filter with clean fuel and spread a clean engine oil film on the seal, then tighten the filter until its seat on the support. 6.Then tighten further of half turn.

WARNING Avoid environment pollution. The used fluids, such as hydraulic oil, lubricants, coolants and the filter elements soaked with these fluids, must be eliminated according to local or national current regulations qualifying these materials as polluting, harmful and dangerous waste.

WARNING To prevent fuel leakages, make sure that the fuel filter is firmly tightened but avoid an excessive tighten. The mechanical tightening damages the fuel filter.

WARNING The bleeding of small quantities of air passing into the fuel system, when changing filters or injection pump feed pipe, occurs automatically if the fuel filter replacement is performed in accordance with the abovementioned instructions.

18. OIL FILTER ON THE STEERING/BRAKES DE-

LIVERY CIRCUIT - Replace cartridge

1. Clean the support base and the surrounding area. 2. Loosen filter F1 and replace it with a new one. Before installing a new filter, lubricate the gasket with engine oil, then screw it on the support. After the gasket touches the base, tighten the filter 3/4 turn further. The tightening must be done by hand.

If required, top-off the oil level, as described at point (6) of the MAINTENANCE TABLE.
