Removing the Optical Drive Module

1. See “Removing the Battery Pack” on page 60. 2. Remove the Memory cover. See “Removing the Lower Covers” on page 63. 3. Remove the screw securing the ODD module.

4. Carefully use a plastic screw driver to release the locking catch.

6. Remove the two screws (A) securing the ODD bracket and remove the ODD bracket from the optical disk drive module.

8. Press down on the locking catch to release the ODD cover, and remove.
