Truck Model Designation A five digit n um ber preceded by a letter is used to designate truck models. F o r example, vehicle C 10703 would be: Conventional C, 4900 lbs.-6800 lbs. GVW 1, 42 in. -47 in. Cab-to-Axle dim ension 07, Chassis cab 03, as listed below.

VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER AND RATING PLATE A com bination vehicle identification n um ber and ratin g plate used on all models (fig. 1) is located on the left door p illar o f CK models. On Forw ard C ontrol models (except P30 M otor Home Chassis) it is attached to the dash and toe panel. The vehicle identification nu m b er stam ped on the plate decodes into the in fo rm a tio n shown in Figure 2.
