A message from the Library Director
City officials, volunteers, patrons, staff, and Library Director, Waynette Ditto celebrated the 40th anniversary on December 8th, 2022.
The HPL has come a long way from its humble beginnings at First Baptist Church of Hewitt to the city’s busiest hub of activity — offering everything from books and technology to early literacy, programming, and STEM education resources.
