English is an international language which has become a key component needed for anyone seeking to acquire the latest research. A report from the British Council pointed out that over eighty percent of digital information is written in English. Also, 66% of scientists use English for their publications. In the future, children will face many English examinations, such as IELTS, TOEIC, or TOEFL. The English ability of the next generation will help decide how well they will gain new knowledge, as English still provides the best advantages and opportunities to the future leaders of the world. Faced with an ever-increasingly competitive international environment, how should we best prepare our children for the future?
The HESS National English Proficiency Test, HEPT, focuses on children and teenagers below the age of 15 and addresses both national and international standards. All components of the test are based upon the Ministry of Education's Twelve-Year Compulsory Education Policy, and the General English Proficiency Test (GEPT) Elementary Level. The three separate levels provide an accurate and detailed assessment of your child's listening, reading, writing, and speaking proficiency. Through their participation, students also are preparing themselves for future English language certificate examinations and learning skills to stand on the international stage, daring to dream!

的科學家使用英文書寫他們的學術刊物。英語能力將會決定下一代擷取知識的速 度、深度與廣度。在孩子未來的學習成長路上，將需要面對不同階段的英語能力檢核，舉凡國中會考等升學考 試、全民英檢、多益、托福……等，英語能力甚至會影響到個人職涯的發展，因為未來孩子將和來自全球的菁 英一起競爭，所以「持續提昇英語能力」將會非常重要而關鍵！ 「何嘉仁全國英語檢定考試」（HEPT）是由專業研究團隊參考國內外相關檢定考試，針對 15 歲以下的兒童及 青少年所規劃的專屬檢定測驗。測驗能力指標及題型設計乃依循教育部十二年國教之英語科學習目標與全民英 檢初級設計而成。考試共分三個級數，讓孩子能定期檢核各階段之學習成效。家長與孩子可透過成績評估報告， 深入瞭解孩子的英語學習程度及未來學習需強化的方向。相信孩子若能按部就班地經過何嘉仁英檢的洗禮，將 能累積專業性大型考試的實戰經驗，為日後參與各項大型英語認證預做準備，進而自信地站上國際舞台、勇敢 追夢！
檢定說明
「何嘉仁全國英語檢定考試」（HESS National English Proficiency Test）自2001年推動至今，已超過18萬 人次以上的學生參與過這項檢測，是台灣兒童美語教育機構中，最具制度與規模的大型英語檢測之一，今年亦 將邁入第二十七屆。
何嘉仁專業教學研究團隊參考國內外相關檢定考試，針對15歲以下兒童及青少年量身規劃專屬檢定測驗能力 指標參照教育部十二年國教英語科學習目標以及全民英檢初級設計而成，可以有效鑑定考生的英語學習成效。
今年英語檢定分為初級、中級及中高級三個級別，依不同學習階段規劃適合的檢測內容。本手冊適用於初級與 中級；中高級相關說明及注意事項請參閱《中高級考生手冊》。
初級與中級檢定旨在協助學員熟悉大型英語測驗的形式與流程，累積應試經驗，建立英語能力與應試信心。兩 級別皆採筆試進行，題型參考全民英檢（GEPT）初級命題方向，透過循序漸進的評量幫助國小中高年級學生 扎實累積英語實力，為未來各項英語認證考試做好準備。
檢定日期：2026年8 月22 日（星期六）
1. 各級考試時間、詳細考試地點以准考證為主。
2. 考場教室及座次安排自 8 月 17 日起於 https://onlinetest.hess.com.tw/ 公佈。
成績公佈：2026年9月22日
1. 9 月 22日於 https://onlinetest.hess.com.tw/ 公佈檢定成績。
2. 10 月 9日起寄發成績單至報名單位，實體成績單請向各原報名單位領取。
3. 英檢證書若有毀損或遺失需重新申請辦理補發者，請至原報名單位辦理登記並需酌收工本費新台幣 200 元； 補發作業時間為 1～2 週。
成績複查：2026年10月22日截止
1. 檢定結束後，若對成績有疑問需申請成績複查者，請於收到成績單後7 日內向至原報名單位提出申請。
2. 複查費新台幣200 元。
3. 複查作業時間為1～2 週。
退費申請
原因
考生臨時重病、受傷或測驗 當日遇3 等親內喪事。
退費金額
報名費全額退費（不含指定閱 讀故事書費）。
因個人因素無法參加。
注意事項
報名費酌扣手續費100 元後退 還餘額。
1. 考生報名繳費經確認後，不得要求延期或更改報考級數。
申請辦法
2026.8.31（一）前填寫退費申 請書並檢附證明文件（如醫生 證明、訃聞）至原報名單位辦 理。
請於2026.7.24（五）前填寫退 費申請書至原報名單位。
2. 如因天災或其他不可抗拒之因素而不能依原定時間或辦法舉行考試時，主辦單位將會發佈緊急公告。

試場規則
考生注意事項
1. 准考證須妥為保存，不得遺失，檢定當日應將准考證放置於桌面，以備核對。
2. 考生之准考證若遺失或毀損，請於檢定當日考試前半小時至考場服務處辦理補發，並酌收工本費新台幣 100 元。
3. 檢定全程不得提前出場；考生應於考前上洗手間，檢定進行時不得中途離開考場。
4. 考生已進入考場後如發現為錯誤考場，應立即向監試老師反應並立即回到正確考場。
5. 考試進行時，考生不得有左顧右盼或嬉笑交談等違規行為。
6. 考生進場、出場及考試過程中如有違反本檢定規則者，監試老師得立即取消其應試資格，考生應立即離場， 成績不予計 分，亦不退費。
7. 若有其他違反考試規定事項者，得由監試老師予以登記，並按情節輕重予以適當處理。
8. 檢定期間若有身體不適者，請舉手向監試老師說明，並由場外工作人員協助處理。
筆試注意事項
1. 筆試開始後方抵試場之考生請即迅速安靜入座; 考試鐘響後 10 分鐘即嚴禁進場。
2. 應試考生除准考證、相關文具（2B
鉛筆及橡皮擦）可攜進考場外，其他隨身物品請依各考場規定置於教室外或置於教室前後方。
3. 檢定當日第一聲預備鐘（鈴）響，考生須暫時離開教室，第二聲考試鐘響始得進場。
4. 考生作答前，監試老師會先進行考試規則及作答方式解說；未獲監試老師指示前，考生不得翻閱試卷。
5. 考試進行中若有試題印刷不清時，得舉手請監試老師處理。
6. 請一律以本次檢定之答案卷作答；在答案卷以外地方作答概不計分。
7. 作答時注意字跡應清晰可讀，並保持答案卷整潔，以免影響評分。
8. 劃記電腦答案卡時，應以2B鉛筆畫記，如有劃記顏色過淡、不清楚、更改的答案未擦拭乾淨而造成電腦無法判讀，考生須 自負責任，不得異議 正確→ 不正確→
9. 檢定結束時應立即停止作答，並在原位等候監試老師清點試題及收卷，不得再提筆作答，否則以違規論。
10. 各級英檢考試結束後，考生請依現場監試老師之指示，交回試卷後始得出場。
