T-Levels are an alternative to A-Levels, Apprenticeships and other 16 to 19 courses, delivered in conjunction with local and national employers. Equivalent to three A-Levels, T-Levels focus on vocational skills and can help students into skilled employment, higher education or apprenticeships.

Each T-Level includes an in-depth industry placement that lasts at least 45 days. Students have the opportunity to obtain valuable experience in the workplace, while employers gain early sight of the new talent in their industry.

HRC currently offers T-Levels in: Digital Production, Design and Development Design, Surveying and Planning for Construction

INCLUSIVE LEARNING

At HRC we welcome students with disabilities and/or difficulties and aim to provide effective support to help them achieve their goals.

Each student joining HRC has a programme that is fully personalised and based on the areas of learning that are most relevant to their future.

At HRC, students work towards learning new routines, they take part in activities both within the college and in the community, learn how to follow instructions to keep themselves safe and to gradually build up ways to become more independent where possible.

At HRC, areas of learning are split into four themes; Health and Wellbeing, Community Inclusion, Employability Skills/Work Experience and Independent Living. Students are involved in selecting a programme of study that is aspiration appropriate, challenging and contains bespoke tuition.

Students have access to a wide variety of community experiences in leisure and services, work experience placements and vocational options – ensuring that they have a chance to express themselves.

Maths, English and ICT are embedded into all courses, delivery methods dependent on each course level.

In addition to the above, HRC provide a wide range of opportunities for Enrichment & Sport.
