TheSUInsightTeamiscurrentlyputtingtogethera questionsetforthisproject,andtheywillbe seekingstudentfeedbackonthis.Oncethishas beencompleted,theywillseekethicsapproval fromtheUniversity.TheNSSresultshavenotbeen releasedtotheUniversityortheSUasofyet regardingtheprevalenceofsexualviolenceon campus.
TheNationalStudentSurvey(NSS)includedan optionalsurveyforgatheringfeedbackaroundthe prevalenceofsexualviolenceoncampus.The Universityalsomirroredthesurveyand distributedthistoallremainingstudents,where theyreceiveda12%responserate.Wewillreview anyadditionalresearchthatneedstobe conductedoncetheresultsofthesehavebeen sharedwithus.
TheSUiscommittedtodeliveringthisresearch. Theplantowaituntildatawasmadeavailableis toensuretheresearchisscopedoutanddelivered inthemosteffectivewayatthestartofthenext academicyear,whenstudentsarepresentto engagewithit.WeareintalkswiththeDeanof StudentsOfficeaboutcollaboratingonthis project.
